We are looking for developer for building backend fintech application. The primary role is to design, develop, maintain applications and coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Improvement of the architecture/trading system in the financial/blockchain field which requires the developed system to have high performance, low latency, high availability, and high reliability
• Write high-quality, clean and maintainable code using engineering best practices
• Quick action in case of any productions issue happen, lead up to resolving the issues with coordination with different team members
• Comfortable working in fast-paced start up and agile environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant fields
• Good problem solving skills, team player and able to work independently driven
• Good attitude and willing to learn and pick up new skills • Knowledge in HTTP, WebSocket, TCP / IP protocols
• Proficient in one or several of the following programming/scripting languages: Java, python golang, nodejs, c++, rust
• Proficient in PostgreSQL databases and SQL tuning/optimization
• Experience with designing and implementation of scalable microservices, APIs
• Experience with Caching : Redis is a plus
• Experience with Messaging Queue : Kafka is a plus
• Experience with managing infrastructure on AWS is a plus

Software Development

1. Design, Develop and Maintain device drivers for Windows Operating Systems

2. Undertake WHQL testing and certification of drivers and device frameworks.

3. Design, Develop and Maintain User Libraries and DLLs.

4. Participate in all phases of SDLC and prepare corresponding documentation

5. Undertake porting and maintenance of existing drivers to new frameworks and OS’s

6. Resolve defects reported by internal and external customers

Knowledge and skill requirements:

At Xendit, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a key role in designing and developing robust and scalable payment solutions, specifically focusing on multiple payment methods such as Cards, Virtual Accounts, and other financial instruments. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in architecting complex systems, optimizing payment flows, and ensuring high levels of security and performance.

Minimum Qualifications

Technical Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in software engineering, with a strong background in designing and implementing payment systems.
• Deep understanding of multiple payment methods, including Card Networks (Visa, MasterCard, etc.), Virtual Accounts, ACH, and other digital payment solutions.
• Expertise in system architecture and designing scalable and reliable software systems.
• Proficient in multiple programming languages (Go, TS, JS, Python etc)
• Experience with databases, both SQL and NoSQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices architecture, and integration with third-party services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient payment systems for multiple payment methods, including Cards, Virtual Accounts, and emerging payment technologies.
• Lead the architectural design of complex software systems that handle high volumes of transactions, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define system requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers to ensure high standards of quality and best practices are upheld.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex system issues related to payment processing, including latency, security concerns, and integration errors.
• Evaluate and integrate third-party payment services, APIs, and solutions into our infrastructure.
