Project description:

Our Customer is a Leading bank in Asia that provides a front to back integrated platform for straight through processing and risk management.
This is a multi-year initiative where different projects run in concurrence under the program's variety milestones. These streams include new product initiatives, new entity roll-outs and regulatory compliances.
We will have key roles in projects such as managing the scope, design and delivering requirements from front to back office.

We are looking for talented and ambitious people. The roles are in the respective Functional, Test Management, Development, Test Support, Environment Management and Release teams. These units will collectively undertake scoping, design, building, testing and implementation phases to deliver the variety program milestones.

Responsibilities:

• Development of enhancements to the Counterparty Exposure & Limits System.
• System testing, trouble shooting, code review and quality control.
• Offer third level support to the production support team.
• Work closely and communicate effectively and independently with project managers, business analysts and business users, as well as external vendors

Mandatory skills:

• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 8 years working experience in software development
• Proficiency Java programming, Oracle SQL, Stored procedure, UNIX scripting
• Experience in container platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift
• Understand the Risk limit structure E.g., Pre-settlement, Settlement, Notional

Job Description:

• Develop software using C++ on embedded platforms such as QNX, VxWorks, and Embedded Linux.
• Design and develop software using object-oriented principles, UML modeling, and design patterns.
• Work with multi-threading, socket programming, and serial/USB communication.
• Perform software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of embedded systems.
• Collaborate with teams to meet stringent timelines and deliver high-quality software.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline.
• Developed a software in at least one full software development lifecycle.
• Experience in writing requirements specifications, use cases, design documentation, and designing software using object-oriented software design and UML modelling.
• Good knowledge and experience in C++ on embedded platforms.
• At least 5 years of experience in object-oriented software development.
• Prior experience in Scrum AGILE methodology process to develop and integrate embedded devices with cloud platforms is a plus.
• Prior experience in developing and integrating vehicle side information technology for public transport (ITxPT) services, like GNSS and AVMS services would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, independent and a good team player.

• Identify the areas of improvement to reduce time to delivery avoiding manual errors.
• Maintain, manage and modify all software systems, tools, and applications.
• Coordinate with developers to build and implement technology solutions.
• Provide testing support to meet DITSCAP, DII COE, JTA-A, and DoD standards.
• Knowledge of databases, system security and troubleshooting recommended.
• Preparation of documentation to cover each SDLC stages (e.g. Functional spec, test cases etc).
• Enhance system to deliver Change workflow functionality
• Rollout the solution to all environments across different environments.
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities are essential.
