We are looking for Service Tender Engineer (Power System) to make an impact!

This position is accountable for preparing a response to the Request for proposal/Quotation on moderate size and complex Customer’s opportunity, from start to finish, so that the response offered the best Value Proposition. This includes reviewing the RFP/RFQ, determining the scope of works and tasks, determine the best product/equipment/software/services offers, liaising with factories and vendors, challenging the factories and vendors’ offer, costing and determining the market price level, working with various internal stakeholders, i.e. opportunity leader, business leader, project management, engineering, solution purchaser, legal, contract management, solution risk management, analyze risk and opportunities etc. To prepare/revise the offer till the closure of the opportunity, attend and support bid clarification with the opportunity leader, organized Contract Review as well as hand-over package to the project management team. This position is expected to be self-driven, taking ownership and initiative to complete the require task within the timeframe agreed with the Opportunity Leader.

What you will do:

• Take ownership of the tender process and drive the submission of the Offer
• Analyze request for proposals (RFP)/ request for quotation (RFQ) from Customer and determining the scope of works and tasks
• Liaise with factory personnel in preparing proposal packages and advising on technical matters to prospective clients / consultants
• Ensure and comply to company tendering process
• Build techno-commercial proposals by using standard tools and processes and integrating validated data provided by technical and commercial support functions.
• Prepare costing as per requirements and complete submission of Offer within deadline.
• Understand risk analysis and apply into the offer.
• Ensure compliance of Solution Risk Policy and coordinate for approval
• Conduct contract review with the required stakeholders to ensure contract alignment.
• Prepare and handover of opportunity to Execution & Project Team

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Power Engineering
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in Tendering process and good experience and strong knowledge in Electrical Distribution equipment, systems and solutions especially Medium Voltage Switchgear
• Knowledge of Electrical industry, EPC and customers’ base in various segments such as Oil & Gas, Utilities, Commercial Buildings and other segments
• Adaptability and Teamwork oriented mindset
• Customer focused mindset and fluent in English language.
• Good communication skills and previous Commercial or Project Management experience would be an advantage.

Profile Summary:

The Senior Systems Engineer supports security systems and operations administration, monitoring and maintenance. Monitors security alerts and events. Collects and documents contextual information based on established practices and supports the preparation and publishing of security advisories. Assists with the analysis of security-related information and events, escalation of incidents for validation and remediation.

Able to be alert and vigilant in performing monitoring activities, and is able to analyze and resolve security-related issues critically. He/She communicates clearly in his/her interactions with others and coordinates effectively with his/her team to perform security operations.

Requirements/ Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent
• 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in firewall, network scanning or asoc

• Required to be on standby with on-call availability with varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Experience in AD/ID administration as per best security practices
• Exposure in IM8 or equivalent

• Provide advanced manufacturing electrical and controls expertise in leading detailed and comprehensive planning for conceptualization, specification, development and implementation of right-sized manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Manage electrical and control portions of capital equipment expenditures that support new product designs, factory capacity or efficiency additions.
• Manage multiple projects and/or provide leadership for larger equipment control projects.
• Must be able to analyse needs and determine best electrical & instrumentations recommendations for equipment / process to optimize cost & performance.
• Able to select the right-sized equipment, workstation design, material presentation, standard work and single piece flow. Use data and statistics to characterize delivered manufacturing process capabilities in qualifying the release of processes and equipment
• Able to design panel (HMI, PLC, RIO) and provide line drawing according to client needs.
• Able to perform IQ/OQ test during commissioning.

Job Description:

• Co-ordinate and work closely with the external parties and customers to plan, organize and execute the project related activities.
• Assist the manager in engineering works such as system designing, documentation, testing & commissioning (T&C) for BMS systems.
• Plan and develop the project schedules in compliance with customer requirements, deadlines, and/or milestones; develop efficient mechanisms to track the project progression in the field and update the schedules regularly to ensure that the activities are progressed within the schedules timelines.
• Responsible for all work site activities such as coordination and supervision works related to engineering works and systems design.
• Ensure timely completion of all the assigned projects particularly the T&C schedules.
• Responsible for project management related activities which include attend work site meetings, job coordination, system designs etc.
• Ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• At least a Diploma in relevant fields.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge in BMS & ELV Systems e.g. PA system, Fire Alarm System, CCTV system, Card Access, Structure Cabling & etc.
• Familiar with BIM (Navisworks) and/or AutoCAD.
• Able to manage project cycle independently with minimum supervision.
• Knowledge in underground cabling work will be an added advantage.

REQUIRED SKILL-SET

· System architecture including DR design experience is an advantage

· Strong knowledge in Data Centre operations, including managing Enterprise Data Centre.

· Experience on vSAN and HCI

· Able to work effectively in a team setting

· Decisive with the ability to multi-task

· Relevant technical certifications, such as Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft are preferred

· Overseas travelling may be needed and regional experience with neighbouring countries is a plus.
