General Summary
The IT Domain Architect drives actionable transformation and modernization results by helping to establish a clear architecture vision and road map. Provides expertise on architecture principles and standards in dealings with architecture governance committees. Serves as an expert resource to advise other teams and promote architectural alignment for technical solutions. Assists with establishing key architecture concepts, standards, tools, best practices, and methodologies for the company.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with a 10+ years of total experience and 8 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully lead change. Experience with defining and implementing architecture principles and patterns.
• Knowledge of TOGAF is a plus. Experience with WMS, SOA, Messaging, and database technologies. Thorough understanding of established application design frameworks.
• Working knowledge and experience developing large scale systems and real-time interfaces between heterogeneous systems.
• Proven leadership and solid track record of prior enterprise projects. Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus. Project management, system analysis, and design experience is helpful.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills to all levels of management.
• problem solving and analytical skills. Proactive, great attention to detail, results-oriented problem solver. Ability to balance long term goals against concerns in the areas of code maintainability, developer productivity, and the customer experience.

Position Responsibilities

• Assist with establishing key architecture standards, tools, best practices, and methodologies to enable the Company’s target state and enable its architecture evolution and alignment across Client.
• Focus on the long-term architecture and strategy for the SOA services and solutions that enable operations.
• Work with the solution architects to expand shared application and data service creation and consumption across solutions.
• Work across teams to drive solutions to problems with high system interdependency.
• Oversee the architecture for development of cross-functional, multi-platform systems.
• Promote the appropriate architecture and design principles and patterns to be leveraged for every technology enabled solution.
• Document system architecture and define application components, platforms, interfaces, and development tools. Define, champion and govern business architecture standards, tools, best practices, and development methodologies.
• Provide technical guidance to application development teams, consult on integration and conversion issues and participate in mapping technology-independent application architecture to the chosen technology platform.
• Have an “EA perspective” and collaborate regularly with other OpCo’s architects to ensure solutions align with enterprise direction.
• Lead domain visioning road maps, ensuring alignment with the strategic direction of the enterprise and domain. Identify strategic and tactical solutions and be able to influence and negotiate with colleagues and business partners.
• Analyze business requirements and develop functional/system specifications. Ensure high-value architecture and design artifacts for all solutions in domain areas. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

Lead a small team of architects and technical staff through all stages of architectural services

Take responsibility for project management, delivery program

Control project from start to finish to ensure high-quality, innovative, and functional design

Identify clients’ needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals

Develop ideas keeping in mind the client’s needs, building’s usage, and environmental impact

Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations

Make on-site visits to check on project status and report on project

Cooperate and liaise with construction professionals

Requirements

A recognized Degree in Architecture, registered with the Board of Architects, Singapore

Good design with a strong portfolio

Have strong visual awareness and an eye for detail

Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant architectural experience is preferred

Good knowledge of architectural details, working drawings, and construction practices

Proficiency in CAD / functional drafting capability.

Conversant with codes and regulations

We are looking for business farmer who seeks to understand the customers business needs, and by utilising ICT and BFSI domain knowledge, propose solutions to enhance sales growth of the client as the IT system integrator. The incumbent will showcase excellent communication and negotiation skills to contribute to increased sales and maintain customers relationship at a high standard. The objective is to source and transform opportunities to long term profitable relationships based on trust and mutual satisfaction.

• Cultivate, maintain and grow relationships with established accounts that will increase business and ensure excellent customer relations
• Generate demand by assisting clients to identify current needs and articulating how the client can add value through its services and offerings
• Build enduring relationships and display an understanding of the client industry, business environment and strategy to identify current and future opportunities
• Become the reliable point of contact for clients that is required to establish a strong business relationship
• Responsible for driving client satisfaction and taking ownership throughout the entire lifecycle to make sure sales, projects, and solution are delivered and meeting clients expectation
• Grow revenue and margin targets and maximize sales opportunities in various segments
• Influence and work closely with vendors to achieve required results
• Prepare customer proposals, reply to tenders, RFQs, etc. in close coordination with the project teams
• Create and lead sales strategies to enter into identified market or customers.
• Prepare for presales materials such as capabilities brochures, presentation materials and support sales team in keeping a record of proposals and continuous tracking of project deliveries
• Good understanding of the project execution and delivery processes with strong ability to grasp customers requirements, conduct gathering of requirements and analysis, and prepare functional requirements and services requirements specification documents
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations that address the customers needs and lead to sales growth
• Submit to management all required sales and generate reports in a timely manner
• Update supervisors regularly on customers day-to-day requirements/requests
• Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other relevant disciplines
• At least 8 years of relevant sales experience in selling IT solutions (not only procurement of software & hardware, but also professional services delivery for IT system integration) to financial institutions, Japanese Banks is preferable
• Must possess fundamental ICT knowledge and domain knowledge of banking industry
• Possess knowledge of Fintech and Solutions for Financial Institutions
• Experience in Services Sales with tender and bidding participation
• Ability to perform account management, relationship building with established accounts and account maintenance duties
• Ability to work well with co-workers
• Proven sales and client engagement experience coupled with good understanding of business, sourcing, and technology market
• Proven experience negotiating with clients and vendors
• Demonstrated people skills with a will to close sales and establish VendorPartner relationship
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, both written and presentation
• Possess analytical and problem solving skills
• Self-motivated and pro-active in identifying new opportunities on the established accounts
