Project-based Architectural Design Consultancy Services:

• Conceptualize concept and schematic designs.
• Carry out feasibility studies and presents design proposals.

• Responsible for design process, layout costing and preparation of proposals to customers
• Work in coordination with sales, facilities, procurement and operations teams to develop in-country logistics solutions and pricing in support of new business growth
• Attend RFI/RFP/RFQ sessions with clients and provide clarification questions as needed
• Analyze given data and use existing information to make logical assumptions to fill the gap
• Provide logistics quotations for customer enquiries
• Present solutions to potential customers
• Support existing operations for expansion costing
• Collect data and perform statistical analysis for ad hoc project assignments

We’re looking for

• Degree or above in Supply Chain / Logistics Management or other related disciplines
• Relevant working experience in Supply Chain industry, with around 3 years of solutions design and/or contract logistics operations experience
• Experienced in using AutoCAD and SketchUp is advantageous.

Job Description

• Carry out Floater Design or modification to the design as instructed by the Design Managers or Senior/Lead Naval Architects, to fulfill project requirements.
• To perform naval architecture activities such as Scantling calculations, Powering calculations, Stability calculations and Launching arrangement/ calculations, inclining experiment etc.
• Ensuring designs adhere to Class Rules, Regulatory Framework, Contact Technical Specifications and to ISO and document control rules.
• To deal with owners and class surveyors to solve basic design, engineering and production issues.
• Provides technical support to Commercial and Engineering Departments for enquiries and ongoing projects.
• Any other assigned duties and responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Degree in Naval Architecture / Marine Engineering
• At least 2 years of relevant working experinece, preferably in marine / offshore industry
• Knowledge of functional and operational requirements related to design of all types of ships and offshore vessels
• In-depth knowledge and experience of engineering field
• Well versed with regulatory and class requirements
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skkills
• Possess supervisory skills to coach and motivate staff
• Able to work in a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering design software (eg ACAD, Stability Softwares)
