Job Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent academic qualifications in architecture
• Minimum 8 years of experience plus BOA registration preferred for Senior Architect position
• Experience in design or project management of large-scale complex projects (SGD $50 million and above)
• Familiarity with Public Projects (PSSCOC) protocol of project management
• Experience in healthcare projects highly preferred
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Self-driven with strong problem-solving skills

The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Consulting Architect to join us in the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. In this role, you will promote the adoption of Red Hat's solutions at our key enterprise accounts, government agencies, and service provider partners. You'll define requirements and deliver solutions based on the Red Hat portfolio of solutions and services offerings. You will lead small to medium-sized project teams and ensure the quality of customer deliverables for one or more projects. You will apply well-developed consulting, business, and process expertise in your work and coach and mentor others while building good customer relationships. You will earn the trust and confidence of our customer Engineering, Development, and Operations teams by matching their requirements and use cases with the functional capabilities of our solutions.

As a Consulting Architect, you will serve as a customer advocate within Red Hat, delivering the right solutions and ensuring that these solutions are implemented and supported in a creative and reliable way.

What You Will Do:

• Deliver successful discovery, analysis, and design workshops for small to medium teams of technical and non-technical backgrounds that shape and influence customer use cases and architecture design decisions
• Scope delivery projects and guide customers through successful pilot and production deployments
• Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat's services capabilities, promote repeatable customer engagements, and lower delivery risk
• Address the customer’s technical, development, and strategic IT requirements as the main point of contact for Red Hat’s professional services
• Use industry practices and Red Hat's policies and procedures to solve diverse problems
• Demonstrate subject matter expertise in middleware, Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and cloud-native application community by producing whitepapers, webinars, etc. and speaking at seminars and conferences

What You will Bring:

• 8+ years of experience working in an application architect, solutions architect, enterprise architect, or architect consulting delivery role
• Proven record of working in a strategic advisory capacity to senior IT operations and engineering professionals and business executives
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; extensive experience presenting even to C-level executives
• Comfortable working with highly distributed teams, including interaction with the open source communities via email and other communication tools
• Solutions sales experience in an environment with multiple products and services
• Background in architecting and designing complex customer solutions in a rapidly evolving technology domain
• Background in lightweight application architecture including microservices and APIs
• Good presentation and communication skills in English
• Knowledge of and operational experience with new services methodologies related to next generation application migration and modernization, Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), or agile and DevOps
• Competence to quickly embrace and understand new technologies; ability to comprehend new information and understand complex topics
• Multiple years of experience focused on application development, maintenance, and support including supporting infrastructure
• Extensive knowledge of Openshift and other kubernetes, API, web services, Spring Framework, and etc.
• Proven ability to work with distributed cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers
• Ability to study and quickly learn and put into practice new topics
