Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager
Location: Singapore (with occasional travel as required)
Reports to: Senior Management / CEO
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Growth & Strategy:
· Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities locally and in other SE Asian countries.
· Develop and implement strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
· Research and identify key market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to position the company for long-term success.
Client Relationship Management:
· Cultivate and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, including family offices, high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), and corporate clients.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, providing personalized service and understanding their specific investment and logistic solutions in precious metals.
Sales & Revenue Generation:
· Lead sales efforts to meet or exceed revenue targets by promoting and selling the company's services.
· Create compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients, showcasing the company’s offerings.
· Negotiate and close high-value deals while ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
· Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor strategies to provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.
· Regularly report on sales performance, pipeline development, and market insights to senior leadership.
Collaboration & Leadership:
· Work closely with the marketing, operations, and compliance teams to align business development efforts with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and seamless execution of contracts.
Brand Representation & Networking:
· Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and forums to enhance the company’s visibility and network with key industry leaders.
· Build a strong network within the precious metals, finance, and private wealth communities to leverage potential business opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management within the financial services, private wealth, or precious metals sectors.
· Strong track record of achieving sales targets, driving business growth, and building lasting client relationships.
· Knowledge of precious metals markets (gold, silver, platinum, palladium) and financial instruments used for investment in precious metals is an advantage.
Skills:
· Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities.
· Fluent in English.
· Customer service orientated
· Understanding the precious metals industry's regulatory and compliance standards is an advantage.
