Job Summary
Reporting to the Project Department Manager, the individual will be responsible for overseeing the entire project life cycle, encompassing project planning, execution, control, and closure, while also leading the project team. This role entails representing the company in client interactions and facilitating project meetings with both clients and internal departments.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Extensive experience in managing both small and large Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects.
• Proficient in leading proposal and tender preparation, overseeing the submission process through to the contract award.
• Demonstrated execution experience in leading Engineering, Procurement, and Construction teams from project initiation to closure.
• Skilled in conducting contract reviews, risk analyses, and developing contingency plans.
• Expert in organizing proposal and project task forces while planning staff allocation for optimal resource utilization.
• Capable of establishing project execution strategies and setting policies for quality, safety, cost, and scheduling.
• Adept at reviewing, monitoring, and analysing project operations.
• Responsible for managing insurance, liabilities, and warranties associated with the project.
• Experience in reviewing and approving project finance and control plans.
• Competent in reviewing and approving alternatives and deviations based on their impacts on cost, schedule, and quality.
• Skilled in preparing comprehensive budget cost plans and analyses.
• Experienced in reviewing and approving EPC cost estimations.
• Proficient in developing market awareness of the company’s capabilities to ensure participation in bidding opportunities.
• Capable of evaluating overall project performance.
Key Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree of Civil/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of education, with minimum 12 to 20 years of experience
• Experience in Infrastructure, Engineering, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Oil & Gas
Knowledge & Skills
• Strong understanding of various disciplines, particularly in Process Technical knowledge.
• Proficient in Basic Design and P&ID.
• Proven experience in EPC Project Management.
