Responsibilities

Help develope menu ideas and concepts, such as specials, new dishes, revamping brunch, etc.

Maintaining the high standards of food quality and safety.

Manage day to day operations of the kitchen and managing stock deliveries.

Maintain the concepts quality goals, operational efficiency, productivity levels, food and service quality, and customer service standards.

Respond efficiently and accurately to guest feedback and complaints.

Regularly review product quality and research new vendors.

Work closely with the floor manager to ensure excellent service.

Prepares food for a specific area of the kitchen, such as the grill, stove, or vegetable prep area

Ensures food hygiene and health and safety standards are met

Monitors portion and waste control

Maintains a clean and organized kitchen

Reports to a sous chef or head chef

Job Description:

• Plan and execute menus according to the standard recipes or company requirement
• Ensure consistent presentation of prepared food items
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction in food quality and presentation

Job Requirement:

• At least 2 years of proven experience in a CDP role
• Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, tools, and processes
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Able to work in a hot and humid environment
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Able to perform Flexi shift, and able to work on weekends and public holidays

We are looking for experinced Chinese Food Chef with Mala/Spicy Hotpst for at less 3 Years.

He need to be proficient in Chinese cooking , able to cook , Manage kitchen team and operations (including procurement, quality control).

His duty and job scope include and not limited to：

• preparation of ingredients for food dishes in designated outlet(s)
• ordering and ensuring food and stock supplies are consistent in quality
• overall responsible for food/ingredient quality preparation and hygiene standards
• Responsible for storing and packing of food and ingredients in neat and orderly manner according to approved safety and hygiene standards
• Responsible for cost control and budgeting for food supplies to ensure competitiveness
• Any other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time, including assisting or being tasked to handle other kitchen sections’ duties

A chef de cuisine is the hands-on leader in a restaurant kitchen. From hiring and training staff to supervising food preparation and final plating, the chef de cuisine is directly responsible for every dish that comes out of the kitchen. These highly skilled chefs create and revise recipes, seek out new ingredients, delegate kitchen tasks, stay up-to-date on current food trends and techniques, and ensure their kitchens adhere to all relevant local health department codes. A professional kitchen is an intense environment, so chefs de cuisine must be able to endure long hours of standing and walking around, along with working nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

· Cultivating relationships with vendors, farmers, and other wholesale food suppliers to ensure the highest quality ingredients.

· Monitoring physical inventory, including kitchen equipment, food items, and other supplies, and generating purchase orders as needed.

· Demonstrated understanding of proper food storage and product rotation procedures to ensure freshness and quality.

· Scheduling staff and assigning daily responsibilities to maximize kitchen efficiency

· Inspecting every dish to confirm correct portion size, visual appeal, and quality compliance.

Minimum Qualifications

· Proven work experience As Chef de Cuisine.

· Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment (e.g. grillers and pasta makers).

· Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques.

· Leadership skills.

· Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks.

· Excellent time management abilities.

· Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes.

· Familiarity with sanitation regulations.

• To be assistant chef in a staff canteen, and willing to do shift work if need be (with relevant allowance given)
• Need experience in F&B sector and to undergo interview and "cooking try-out" at our staff kitchen.

• Supervise kitchen sections in the absence of Chef De Partie.
• Ensure food temperature stays safe.
• Prepare ingredients, wash vegetables, clean, cut, and assist the Chef.

• Help with refrigerator cleaning and workstation setup.
• Comply with relevant food handling safety standards and regulations.
