Responsibilities:

• Maintain the Appearance and Safety of the Fitness Floor;
• Lead engaging Pilates Reformer group classes and private sessions
• Provide personalized instruction and modifications to ensure safe and effective workouts
• Educate clients on the benefits of Pilates and proper technique
• Maintain a positive, motivating, and supportive environment for all participants
• Stay up to date on the latest Pilates methods, trends, and industry best practices
• Assist with covering Receptionist's role with admin duties
• Actively seek out opportunities to improve the appearance of the equipment and facility;

Requirements:

• Ability to demonstrate effective group reformer instruction;
• Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises;
• Focus on customer service, including professional and effective communication skills;
• Experience teaching group classes;
• Currently holds or pursuing Personal Training Certification
• Must be available to work a variety of work hours including day, evening, weekends and holidays;
• Must represent oneself in a professional, ethical and respectful manner at all times;
• Lead private Pilates Sessions;
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite;
• Learn/develop signature class formats;
• Vast knowledge of current group fitness trends;
• Available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays;
• Assist in cross-discipline team-building efforts;
• Clean designated group exercise room pre/post class.

Pilates Instructor

Responsibilities:

• Deliver private sessions to members, and monitor members' progress with regular physical assessments
• Recognize individual clients' needs and plan safe and effective movement programs using Pilates Methods on Pilates Matwork and comprehensive Pilates
• Achieve personal targets in clients’ visits and service goals
• Provide high quality customer service, and maintain professionalism at all times
• A strong work ethic including motivation to help members make lifestyle changes
• Regular update on skills with continuing education
• Ensure that service areas, equipment and supplies are maintained in an orderly and safe manner

Requirements:

• Recognized international Pilates certificates, e.g PMA, NCPT, Polestar Comprehensive Pilates, Ron Fletcher Pilates, Stott Pilates or equivalent certifications
• Relevant work experience of minimum 2 years is required
• Good commercial sense, excellent communication skills and tactful in dealing with people at all levels
• Dynamic, resourceful, team player and able to articulate objectives in a compelling manner
• Require to full-fill minimum hours, and work days include some weekends and public holiday
