Duties of a Recovery Nurse

Recovery nurses provide critical care to patients before and after surgery. Recovery nurses treat a wide range of patients. They clean wounds, administer medication and monitor the progress of the patients' conditions

Before Surgery

• Work with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical nurses to prepare patients for surgery.
• To record vital signs, instruct patients on the details of the procedures and administer intravenous therapy and medication.
• Help doctors transfer patients to the operating room, and may be asked to clean wounds, sterilize equipment and make sure patients' rooms are ready for their arrival.
• To communicate with loved ones and inform them of patients' conditions.

After Surgery

Admin Staff

Salary: S$12 - S$15/hour

Contract: 6 months to long term

Location: Clarke Quay

Working Hour: Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 6pm, Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm

Responsibilities:

• Assist to organise meetings, collate meeting materials, and prepare logistic items (arrange for refreshments, booking of venue for meetings or events, ensure stationery require are in place) require for various meetings, events, workshops or seminars for the members attending the meeting.

• Assist officers with trip preparations (e.g. finding of appropriate gifts for presentations to foreign delegations for overseas working trips or events, booking/search for hotel accommodations, air tickets, etc)

• Printing and organizing of documents; including binding the documents when require

• Data verifications: assist to verify information of the given data in the excel spreadsheet or other sources

• Collation of data from various agency for updating purposes in Excel or other MS office programme files

• Assist to source for quotes from suppliers for various purchase when require

• Assist with preparing the list require for greeting cards that will send to various stakeholders

• Other tasks assigned by division members or supervisors

• Diploma in any

• Good digital literacy and office administrative skills

We are searching for highly motivated, upbeat individuals who work well both with a team and individually when interacting with guests. The responsibilities include greeting and welcoming guests, ensuring that server stations are well-organized, and responding to guests' requests in a timely and efficient manner. To be a successful Customer Service ambassador, you must have good knowledge of proper food and beverage handling procedures and excellent organizational skills. Ultimately, an exceptional Customer Service ambassador acts as the face of the company brand, must be able to communicate effectively with both staff and guests as well as demonstrate outstanding customer service skills.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Serving guests upon their arrival
• Setting tables with clean linen, napkins, and tableware as well as condiments
• Ensuring that the server stations are adequately stocked with tableware, napkins, and condiments
• Delivering meal and beverage items to guests as needed
• Assisting with cashiering or processing guests' payments
• Clearing dirty tableware from dining tables and taking them to the kitchen to be washed
• Performing clean-up duties, which include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors as well as polishing counters and fixtures
• Answering guests' questions regarding meal ingredients and preparation
• Notifying the manager of low or depleted restaurant supplies

Job Description

• Provides basic nursing care to the residents in the nursing home.
• Assists the State Registered Nurse in the delivery of nursing care such as:

· supervision of Nursing Aides (NA) and Healthcare Attendants (HCA)

· supervision and assistance to the rest of care team in the proper transfer/lifting of residents

· assisting residents in their activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, toileting, bathing, grooming and feeding

· promoting education of self-care and independence for residents, ensuring a sense of well-being

· ensuring good standard of housekeeping

• Carry out nursing rounds with the registered nurse.
• Ensure the proper delivery of nursing procedures such as dressings, instillation of eye drops, topical creams applications, etc.
• Assist in the administration of medications and tube-feeding under the supervision of State Registered Nurse.
• Checks, monitors and records residents’ vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure and apex beat.
• Maintains accurate documentation of care given.
• Jointly work with the Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist/Physio-Aide to provide rehabilitative exercises for the residents.
• Guides the Nursing Aides in observing and recording of nursing care eg report any unusual observations and/or deterioration in resident’s physical condition to the Registered Nurse.
• Participate in the handling of emergencies (even if off-duty where necessary).
• Work as a team and respond to residents’ needs which include:-

· answering call bells

· ensuring residents are comfortable, dry and clean at all times

· doing rounds of the residents to check on their conditions

· Supervision and assistance in 2 hourly turning of total dependent residents

· serving and feeding the residents their correct meals/feeds

• Keep updated on nursing care by reading, attending talks, seminars and lectures.
• Co-ordinates with other departments such as housekeeping and maintenance to ensure a safe, clean and properly maintained environment.
• To be on rotating shift and on call whenever necessary.
• Any other duties as required by Supervisor.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Nursing from a recognised institution
• Advanced Diploma / Post-Basic Certificate in Critical Care for positions in Critical Care
• Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Mental Health) preferred for positions in Psychiatric Ward
• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
