Working hours:

5/ 5.5 workdays or 47.5 hours per week

The Challenges:

• Assist in food preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and maintaining a smooth workflow.
• Handle ingredient preparation, basic cooking tasks, and ensure kitchen efficiency.
• Prepare and cook dishes while maintaining food quality and presentation standards.
• Oversee a specific kitchen section, ensuring quality and timely preparation of dishes.
• Support the Sous Chef in managing kitchen operations and team performance.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

What it Takes:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Valid food hygiene cert

Job Description

• Working in a before and after school care for MOE Kindergarten going children.
• Caring for K1 & K2 (5 to 6 years old children).
• Modular activities with high leels of interaction with children: 1. Art & Craft 2. Tinkering 3. Cookery 4. Music Movement & Dramatisation 5. Gardening 6. Sand & Water Play
• No academic teaching involved.
• Preparation of activities and field visits (if any)
• Ensuring the safety and health standards, handling emergencies and setting up of a conducive environment for the children.

Job Requirements:

• At the minimum, Student Care Centre (Early Years) Certificate.
• Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education (DECCE-T) or an ECDA recognised equivalent obtained in the English medium preferred.
• Required Skill(s): Classroom management, Lesson preparation, Activity planning, Teamwork and Coordination
• Patient and caring personality.
