Senior/Staff Nurse, Radiology Clinic

You are responsible for providing specialised direct and indirect nursing care and patient education through management, coordination and evaluation of care activities for patients undergoing radiological procedures. To provide guidance and direction to staff nurses and below, in order to provide optimal care to meet desired patient outcomes and experiences

Job Description:

• Perform objective assessment, evaluation and documentation of patients’ condition
• Perform complex procedures, both non-invasive and invasive within the scope of duties
• Ensure the safe delivery of patient pre-operatively from reception / recovery to the procedures and vice versa
• Prepare patients for Nuclear Medicine imaging such as screening patient, setting IV cannula and preparing IV medication etc.
• Ensure and maintain principles of sterility and asepsis procedures and techniques when assisting procedures

Job Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board
• Preferably 2 years of working experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Possesses good clinical skills and knowledge
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good team player
• Required to perform on-call duties

Job Description:

• Assess, monitor and notify cardiologist of any change in patient's condition or vascular assess site complications and render care accordingly.
• Provision of safe peri, intra and post cardiac procedure care to patient.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplines care team and departments to coordinate and ensure availability of procedural schedules, healthcare team resources, consumables (instrumentation, equipment and supplies) to support daily operation.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Nursing or equivalent.
• Advanced diploma / post-basic certificate in any discipline for the Senior Staff Nurse position
• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board

Staff Nurse -
*(Able to do cannulation frequently n independently)*

• You will be part of a team responsible for the smooth operation of the Departments of Cardiac Radiology and Nuclear Cardiac Imaging.
• You will assume responsibility and accountability for the safe nursing care of patients undergoing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans.
• You will also be required to liaise and coordinate with inpatient wards to assist in the listing and hospital admission arrangements for patients who will be undergoing procedures.
• You will participate in patient education, attend to patients’ requests and help to maintain medical equipment and the department’s facilities.
• You will also perform other nursing duties and help to induct and supervise junior staff

Requirements :

• Diploma/Degree in Nursing
• SNB Registered
• Experience in a similar role or with Medical or Clinical set up
• Able to thrive in fast-pace environment
• Proactive and supportive in carrying out new initiatives
• Able to commit to staggered shift hours -7am-11am/ (No night shift)
