• Hospital treatments and running laboratory tests.
• Assisting in diagnostic imaging.
• Perform relevant administrative duties.
• Handling and upkeep of stock.
• Help in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the clinic, including vacuuming and mopping daily.
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Sciences such as Biology, Chemistry, BioTechnology, Veterinary Bioscience, or equivalent.
• At least 1 Year of experience working with animals preferred
• Must be PC, Microsoft Office and Internet literate.
• Career path will include assuming a supervisory role in the clinic.
• Must be compassionate towards and be willing to clean up after sick animals.
• Hours can be long, and there is weekend work.

Roles and Responsibilities

• To be responsible for the safe delivery of care to patients.
• To ensure that medical supplies are available for procedures when needed.
• To explain the examination to patient, what he/she will be undergoing and the estimated duration of it, and obtain the necessary consent when required.
• To assist Radiation Oncologist in CTSimulation, brachytherapy and external beam radiotherapy procedures.
• To ensure that precautions have been taken to protect patients, staff and public from unnecessary exposure to inoizing radiation and infectious diseases.
• To perform documentation according to government legislation.
• To perform daily QA procedures on nursing and e-trolley equipment according to manufacturers’ recommendations to ensure the optimal performance of equipment.
• To perform any other duties as instructed by the Senior Staff Nurse or Manager/Radiation Oncologist.
• Possibility of deployment to Nuclear Medicine Centre, when required, within working hours.

Requirements

1. Able to provide general nursing support
2. Able to perform IV cannulation
3. Able to administer IV contrast
4. Able to assist in brachytherapy (training will be provided by ROS if necessary)

Working time:

1. Mon to Fri - 8.30am to 5.30pm
2. Sat (subject to exigency need of the dept)
