The Write Connection Group is a premier education group in Singapore with 13 centres across the island and a head office. We are looking for an IT and Digitalisation Manager to join our Internal Operations Department to support our growth and expansion in Singapore and overseas.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee IT requests and provide IT support to TWC Group centres and head office, and ensure all IT tickets are responded to and resolved in a timely manner.
- Plan and conduct regular checks, analysis, diagnosis and troubleshooting for all TWC Group premises to ensure all software and hardware are up to date and effective, so as to prevent any possible disruptions in daily operations.
- Supervise, review and implement the organisation’s IT and digitalisation strategies and policies for all business processes in respect to the law, regulations, guidelines and IT standards.
- Lead IT projects with relevant departments and stakeholders, including the conceptualisation, implementation, maintenance and review of new and existing IT systems and services within the organisation.
- Provide recommendations to senior management on improvements, SOPs, risks, or policies regarding IT and digitalisation matters.
- Review, update and implement IT policies, SOPs and processes based on departmental needs, to minimise vulnerabilities, boost productivity and increase efficiency of IT systems and processes.
- Set up and maintain drives for all regular IT-related SOPs, guidelines, accounts, inventory and records, as well as other related information for IT Team and key stakeholders’ reference.
- Conduct research and maintain up-to-date understanding of the latest threats, vulnerabilities, mitigation, IT security, industry best practices, regulations.
- Provide all TWC staff with the necessary IT equipment and access to relevant company resources. Maintain and update an inventory for all IT equipment and access information.
- Perform installation, setup, configuration, migration, upgrading and testing of software applications, IT equipment and network.
- Maintain a back-up of relevant TWC data onto a secure space to safeguard the company's data and intellectual property.
- Identify training needs and provide training for IT Team members.
- Provide IT support for company events (e.g. Town Hall Meeting and Staff Appreciation Night).
- Other IT related tasks and scopes.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years’ experience in the IT field in a relevant role.
- Ability to use systems and complete IT tasks efficiently within Google Workplace (Sheets, Forms, App Script etc). Familiar with HTML/CSS, Mac platform, Apple systems and devices.
- Able to organise tasks and work efficiently to meet tight deadlines with minimum supervision.
- Technically savvy and self-motivated learner.
- Possess excellent communication and project management skills to work with stakeholders from various departments and external teams.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin is a plus as future work will involve collaboration with international teams based in other countries in Asia.
Work Hours and Location:
- Work Days: 5-day work week (4 weekdays and 1 weekend). The weekend may be a Sat or Sun depending on roster.
- Work Shifts:
- Weekdays: 10.30am - 7.30pm / 12.30pm - 9.30pm depending on the roster
- Weekends: 8.30am - 6.30pm
- Work Location: TWC HQ, Guthrie House, Bukit Timah. (Candidates may be required to travel to various TWC centres when the need arises.)
