The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations, ensuring the successful delivery of educational programs, managing staff, and maintaining a positive environment for both students and parents.

The Center Manager/Assistant Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of the center by fostering a love for technology and innovation in young minds.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

• Oversee the daily operations of the center, ensuring that it runs efficiently and effectively.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure smooth functioning of the center.
• Manage the center's facilities, ensuring they are well-maintained, safe, and conducive for all activities.
• Responsible for recruiting new students and managing the renewal process for current students.
• Manage class schedules, student enrollment, and track attendance.
• Build strong relationships with students and parents, ensuring excellent communication regarding program updates, student progress, and center activities.
• Address parent concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.

Staff Leadership and Development:

• Hire, train, and manage staff, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary skills and resources.
• Provide leadership and support to staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Conduct performance evaluations, offer professional development opportunities, and address any performance issues.

Marketing and Growth:

• Develop and implement strategies to increase student enrollment and raise awareness of the center’s offerings.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, online content, and social media campaigns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in technology, education, or management fields.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in an educational or enrichment setting. Experience in robotics, programming, or STEM-related fields is highly preferred.
• Candidates without relevant experience but with a Master's degree in a related field can be considered for the Assistant Manager role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Passion for STEM education and working with children.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin.

About the Finance Department:

The Finance Department oversees the organization’s financial activities, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulations. It collaborates closely with other teams to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation. Additionally, it plays a crucial role in maintaining financial stability and sustainability, contributing to Fei Yue’s overall mission of serving the community effectively.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable:

• Fee collection, deposit and timely posting of entries and passing of journals
• Work closely with centres to ensure smooth operation and compliance to procedures
• Perform account receivable reconciliations and investigate and resolve any irregularities
• Manage and update customer information
• Issue invoice and statement of account
• Assist in AR aging review
• Prepare quarterly schedules for period end closing
• Assist in statutory and special audit

Requirements:

• GCE ‘A” Level/Diploma holder (qualification in accounting or finance is a plus)
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Comfortable interacting with people with good interpersonal skills
• Detail-orientated and meticulous
• Able to work under some pressure with time sensitive tasks
• Good problem-solving skills

Job Scope

• Lead a team of supervisors, in-house landscape specialists, and technicians to meet both daily and strategic landscaping goals. Provide onboarding, training, and performance guidance to new team members.
• Oversee daily horticulture tasks by in-house teams and contractors, including planting, pruning, mulching, watering, nutrient management, and weeding. Monitor the maintenance of landscape equipment and irrigation systems and manage overall watering regimes across sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess contractor performance, ensuring adherence to contract specifications and quality standards. Manage compliance with workplace safety and health regulations, performing risk assessments and responding to on-site incidents as needed.

Requirement

• Diploma in Horticulture / Landscape Architecture or related field.
• 3 years’ experience in horticulture or landscaping.
• Accreditation as Certified Practising Horticulturist (CPH) will be advantageous.
