Treasury Manager (Cash Management/European MNC)

Our client is a leading European organisation and has 2 new positions as expansion plans.

Depending on experience it could also be a lower budget for a treasury executive.

OVERALL SUMMARY

The role of this function is to:

• Manage the liquidity position of the Group, including effecting payments and monitoring receipts
• Responsible for all aspects relating to bank accounts and cash management platforms

Reporting into the Senior Manager Treasury.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Reconciliation of cash/account balances (actual vs anticipated receipts) including foreign currency
• Maintaining up-to-date spreadsheets on a number of accounts
• Arranging payments and ensuring sufficient cash reserves for upcoming payments across various bank accounts including in foreign currencies
• Optimising interest income on cash balances, fixing money market deposits with banks/financial institutions
• Following up with banks on payments and receipts as well as general communication
• Checking bank charges and interest accrued (both credit and debit)
• Preparation of cash flow projections & reports.
• Maintenance/opening of bank accounts (including those pledged to banks)
• Updating details of bank accounts, authorized signatories, addresses etc.
• Responsible for all “Know Your Client” documentation
• Co-ordinating with banks the Annual Audit Confirmation required by Auditors
• Performing compliance checks on the payment transactions
• Keeping in constant contact with Principals, and other companies working for the same Principals
• Responsible for ensuring that cash/account balances are within counterparty limits
• For Cash Manager, mentoring/coaching of Treasury Executive, Cash Management (if any)

Qualification / Experience

• At least 5 years (for Cash Manager) in similar cash management function of a corporation
• At least 3 years (for Treasury Executive, Cash Management) in similar cash management function of a corporation
• Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business
• Flair for numbers, meticulous and possess good planning skills
• Good communication skills – spoken and written English, and familiarity with banking terms as well as corporate secretarial requirements

• User Feedback: Collect, analyse, and report on user feedback to help improve existing products or inform the development of new features.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Support in analysing product metrics, such as user engagement, conversion rates, and feature adoption, to evaluate product performance and suggest improvements.

What we're looking for

Responsibilities:

• Communicating with upper management to develop strategic program and to exert strategic influence to align project’s with business’s goals.
• Define project scope, objectives, project budget, schedule and technical requirements from strategic plans.
• Responsible for the smooth running of projects by tracking progress and updating management on status, budgets, irregularities and risks timely.
• Ability to manage organization’s operation costing against project budget and expenses to attain revenue realization.
• Business Partnering focus with customers and the ability to detect unstated assumptions, resolve conflicts and handle complex management issues.
• Recognize risks that can impact project success and measuring them throughout the lifetime of the project.
• Monitoring program and project performance of both internal and external service providers.
• Handle escalations professionally with vendors and customers.
• Ability to perform Scalability, Interoperability and Portability Analysis.
• Create comprehensive project documentation such as training guides, quality assurance guidelines and project reports.
• Able to manage large and diverse teams handling different project segments.
• Presenting data and updates to Senior Management on projects’ performance.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma Certificate in relevant disciplines.
• Possess Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing industry.
• Have experience in overseeing projects from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Allocate resources effectively to meet customer and project needs.

Customer Support:

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for key customers.
• Understand customer requirements and provide tailored technical solutions.
• Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and manage escalations.

Technical Expertise:

• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and competitor products.
• Provide guidance on product integration, testing, and optimization.
• Conduct technical training for internal teams and external stakeholders.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to align on customer needs and product development.
• Contribute to product roadmap discussions based on market feedback and technical insights.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain thorough records of customer interactions and technical solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in field application engineering or technical support, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of LoRa technology, e.g., IoT systems, embedded systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with C. C++, Pyton and Java languages
