1. Management reports:

-Prepare monthly trial balance and balance sheet schedules,

4. Assist in a joint venture entity (JV) accounts and GST:

-Prepare GST and file GST returns to IRAS,

-Support JV entity and JV partner’s yearly financial audit, mainly in preparing audit schedules to the external auditors and attending auditors’ queries,

-Placement of time deposit, and

-Renew of business registration with ACRA before expiry date.

5. Support Head Office accounting request as and when.

6. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Degree / Diploma in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent.

• To have basic knowledge on Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and GST.

Responsibilities:

You will be performing the following scope of work for a system or a family of systems for the key client:

1. Service Management
2. Configuration Management
3. Incident Management
4. IT Security Management
5. IT Security Compliance & QA Management

The following are the activities in each scope of work:

Service Management

• Monitor and report on the SLA/KPI of the in-scope systems, grouped under the System Family, to the client
• Liaise and work directly with client (stakeholders, Ops Managers and/or Contractors) for purpose of project delivery and maintenance support.
• Monitor and update client on operation concern and/or compliance matters and propose resolution.
• Provide monthly summary and/or progress report on systems health, statuses, risk status and status of CR/SR and System Problem.
• Conduct and/or participate in management update meetings - CCC, Operations, Service Review, Audit and Management Meeting.
• Review reports from Operations & Support (O&S) project teams within the System Family
• Provide support to O&S Project teams during Audit, DR/BCP, Backup & Recovery exercise.
• Propose continuous improvement initiatives with recommendations to strengthen IT governance & compliance, increase efficiency on work quality and processes.
• Prepare Management plan and submit compilation to the Client annually

IT Configuration Management

• Periodically review IT asset inventory (hardware, software, network equipment, network attached equipment and end-points) records maintained and updated by Client appointed Asset Officer.
• Maintain oversight and review the Obsolescence at System Family Level.
• Prepare and submit report to Client

Incident Management

• Lead investigation and resolution of incident
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend improvement solution for recurrent incident to Client

IT Security Management

• Schedule security scan for identified systems according to policies and verify all vulnerability rectifications are satisfactorily performed.
• Conduct Security Review on System Access and administration patterns weekly, and report unusual or suspicious activities, if any, to SMO Head Office.
• Track, mitigate and deploy patch security vulnerabilities accordingly to the stipulated timeline. Maintain oversight and submit reports on monthly basis.
• Escalate and/or seek Client’s acceptance and approval of assessed risks.

IT Security Compliance & QA Management

• Ensure compliance status of the Systems adheres to applicable standards, polices, directives and guidelines.
• Declare, review and report compliance status to SMO head office annually.
• During audit exercise, work with stakeholders to provide responses and evidence to auditors or compliance related declarations.
• Provide a Rectification Plan on any gaps found.
• Provide rectification plan for issues arising from audit.
• Seek waiver on compliance whenever it is justifiable.
• Ensure all applicable standards, policies, directives, guidelines, deliverables and quality assurance records are filed and kept up-to-date for audit and review purposes.
• Work with Client on system enhancement required for policy changes and audit requirements.

The ideal profile should have / be:

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent
• More than 5 years of IT project management experience and at least 10 years of IT experience
• Familiar with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience in IT business analysis techniques
• Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, creative with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including strong persuasive techniques
• Able to lead, develop and maintain respectful and trusting relationship
• Working experience with both Microsoft Exchange (2013/2016) and Active Directory in an enterprise environment, including in depth familiarity with Windows Server (2012/2016), Skype for business 2015 and related technologies.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook client support, SMTP mail routing, DNS, OWA is a must.
• At least 3-5 years’ hands-on deployment and support experience in server infrastructure for Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange 2013/2016/2019, Skype for business.
• Candidates are required to handle clients professionally during all interfaces, and are customer oriented, and work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• The Head of Credit Management will lead the firm's credit operations, implementing risk policies, processes, and strategies to ensure effective risk management and support business growth.
• Lead the Credit Management department, ensuring policies, systems, and procedures align with business objectives and industry standards.
• Review and manage trading representatives’ and clients’ trading exposures and limits.
• Monitor the collection of outstanding contra losses, prepare and review monthly status reports, and address escalations effectively.
• Liaise with solicitors on litigation matters and represent the firm in credit-related legal and regulatory inquiries.
• Respond to Stock Exchange (e.g., SGX) queries related to trading representatives or clients.
• Approve various requests, including amendments, payment extensions, privilege waivers, and trust account withdrawals.
• Oversee financial matters such as remisiers’ commission payments, dealer statements, and payouts, ensuring compliance with risk and credit policies.
• Address complaints from trading representatives and clients professionally while adhering to regulatory and internal policies.
• Develop and enforce systems and controls to manage risk exposures, ensuring compliance with SGX, MAS, and other regulatory requirements.
• Provide strategic insights and detailed reports to senior management, highlighting credit risk trends, regulatory updates, and mitigation strategies.
• Monitor trading exposures and manage contra losses proactively.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and implement robust credit risk management practices.
• Handle client and trading representative queries, including those from Stock Exchanges, in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements:

• A degree in Business, Finance, or Economics; a master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) is preferred.
• At least 15 years of experience in credit risk management or related roles within the securities brokerage or financial industry.
• Strong analytical and risk assessment capabilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial products and regulatory frameworks, including SGX and MAS requirements.
• Exceptional skills in stakeholder management and communication.
• Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
