• Oversee the development and implementation of SOC 2 Trust Services Criteria controls, including Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy.
• Monitor control effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to address emerging risks.

Training and Awareness

• Educate employees and leadership on SOC 2 requirements, their roles in maintaining compliance, and best practices.
• Develop training programs to ensure compliance culture across the organization.

Continuous Improvement

• Monitor changes in SOC 2 frameworks and regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce compliance risks.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on compliance program effectiveness.

The Centre Management System Support, Executive/Senior Executive is responsible for overseeing the upkeep, procurement & maintenance of all exhibits, audio-visual equipment, facilities and essential services for daily operations for centres/museums under Defence Collective Singapore (DCS).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintenance Planning: Planning and implementation of building maintenance programs for architectural, electrical, and mechanical, exhibits and attractions AV lighting systems. • Procurement: Manage budgetary control of expenditures including preparation of annual budgets and forecast. Conduct tender exercises for OPEX/CAPEX works such as replacement, upgrading or redevelopment works and manage such works according to timeline including putting up of documents and procurement for OPEX/CAPEX requests.
• Daily Operations: Responsible for the coordination of meetings and events such as logistics support, obtaining quotations, raising of invoices etc. Conduct regular inspection of the centre to ensure high standard of cleanliness and service are provided by term contractors related to cleaning, landscape, pest control etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Leadership: Lead the planning and execution of educational programs and workshops for students and educators, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Team Management: Mentor and guide junior staff, ensuring effective collaboration and professional growth within the team.
• Resource Development: Oversee the creation and refinement of educational resources in maker education, sustainability, digital literacy, and makerspace operations.
• Business Development: Identify growth opportunities, establish partnerships, and build long-term relationships with schools, educators, and community stakeholders.
• Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute strategic marketing plans, including social media campaigns, outreach initiatives, and promotional materials to enhance program visibility and participation.

• Innovation: Propose and develop new program offerings and initiatives to address the evolving needs of educators and students.
• Event Oversight: Manage the logistics and execution of events, workshops, and training sessions, ensuring seamless delivery.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor program metrics, evaluate impact, and recommend enhancements for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• A diploma or degree in Education, STEM, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.
• Passionate about education, business development, or program management.
• Proven ability to facilitate educational programs for students and educators.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring junior staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience in marketing and business development, with a creative and strategic mindset.
• Knowledge or interest in maker education, digital literacy, and sustainability topics.
• Familiarity with makerspace tools, educational technologies, or related resources is a plus.

Job Description:

Team Management:

Lead the work of the application development and maintenance team to ensure that team members' work aligns with project goals, fostering teamwork and an efficient work environment.

Requirements and Project Management:

1. Communicate with business departments to understand business needs and provide recommendations for system development.

2. Develop project plans, budgets, and resource allocation strategies, monitor project progress, and promptly address issues.

Application Development and Solution Design:

1. Drive the branch's self-developed application projects, including but not limited to: requirements gathering, requirements analysis, system design, functional documentation, full-stack development, testing, and production deployment-related tasks.

2. Lead the planning and construction of application system architecture, ensuring the sustainable development of the application system.

3. Organize second-line production issue troubleshooting and provide technical support for existing application systems.

Job Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese so as to commmunicate effectively with our Head Office and Chinese-speaking customers.

Work Experience:

At least 10 years of experience in application development, maintenance, and project management within the information technology field. Prior experience working in a bank or financial institution is preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficient with application development, system maintenace, with experience in managing the application development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.

Proficient with software developing frameworks and mainstream databases.

Project Management Skills:

Well-versed in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and capable of effectively managing multiple projects.

Leadership and Communication Skills:

Strong team leadership and personnel management skills. Excellent communication abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
