Jobscope:

The Software Engineer is responsible to develop software based on design requirements and ensure software and subroutines are working to specification, program codes have conformed to standards and are delivered with quality meeting schedule and requirements.

Project Delivery

• Analyse process/program specifications & translate specifications to program codes, conforming to program guidelines and programming best practices

• Make changes to configurable items, which include hardware, software, documentation, etc. It covers configuration management planning, configuration identification, configuration controls & audits

• Develop unit test package, execute tests & document test results to ensure the quality of the program

• Assist in the integration testing, system testing, User Acceptance Test ( UAT) & implementation activities to fix the reported problems/bugs of the system to ensure the smooth execution of programs in the production environment

• Investigate all reported problems/errors & initiate amendments & testing so that the system can operate correctly & efficiently

• Prepare & maintain up-to-date system documentation.

• Analyse functional requirements to translate into application design using established design methodologies and guidelines

• Ensure codes comply with Company’s security guidelines

Team Work

• Work with team lead to ensure design and programme codes conform to architecture and design standards, and that design satisfies functional and system requirements

• Participate in requirements gathering; work with Business Analysts in reviewing and refining functional specifications

• Participate in peer reviews to improve project quality

Job requirements:

· Typically 5 years’ experience with substantial project work in software development

1. Responsible to the Senior Engineer, Principal Engineer for the preparation of design as per codes/standards and client's specifications.

2. Prepares design proposals, do material take-off for civil and structural work.

3. Conducts site investigation/checks for data acquisition, as-built for design and tender work.

4. Liaise with the accredited Professional Engineer (PE) for calculations, drawings to comply with authority requirements.

5. Coordinating the site team, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and monitoring performance to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently by following all safety regulations, protocols, and guidelines.

6. Monitor the dateline and progress of the job and make sure on time submission of claim.

Qualification & Experience Generally Required

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural or equivalent engineering disciplines.
• Min 5 years experiences working in process plant evironment.
• Knowledge and Hands-on with AutoCad, TEKLA Structure, Autodesk Revit, Naviswork Manage.
• Able to attend emergency call from customer especially on weekend

We are looking for talented Data Engineers, who will join our Data Team and help us build state-of-the-art data engineering capabilities powering the future of our car sharing platform.

BlueSG is the first point to point car sharing service in Singapore. We are optimistic about the future of car sharing and EV and have exciting growth plans in Singapore and beyond. Data team plays a critical role in this which you will be a part of.

Roles and Responsibilities

● Collaborate with DevOps and Business Intelligence teams to establish a common data processing and analytics platform and best practices.

● Work closely with data scientists and software engineers to support the analysis of data, and the development and validation of models.

● Design and implement data storage solutions to ensure data quality, availability, and scalability.

● Monitor the performance of the data infrastructure and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

● Participate in technical discussions across the team through code reviews, RFC, or architecture review sessions.

Requirements

● At least 2 years of experience working as a data engineer or similar.

● Good understanding of Agile and DevOps practices: version control, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, containerization, observability/monitoring.

● Experience building data infrastructure to address the needs of business and data teams. Strong knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing.

● Deep familiarity with data processing systems such as Airflow, Dagster, Flyte, Spark, DBT, or similar and data cataloging tools such as Atlas, Amundsen, DataHub, or similar.

● Deep familiarity with SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) and NoSQL databases (Redis, Elasticsearch preferred).

● We use AWS, so familiarity with its data analytics services and databases, e.g., Redshift, Athena, Glue, EMR, etc. Also, familiarity with data platforms such as Sagemaker, Dataiku, Databricks, Datarobot, or similar.

● Experience with data visualization and reporting tools like Metabase, Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.

Preferred Qualifications

● Hands-on experience supporting high-traffic consumer apps.

● Experience with real-time data processing using Kafka, Flink, or similar tools.

● Data science, MLOps, or related education or work experience.

• Conduct building energy audits to evaluate energy use, costs and identify potential conservation measures
• Perform data analysis and evaluate equipment performance with respect to energy efficiency
• Initiate energy saving proposals to optimize equipment operations and control strategies
• Review and recommend equipment retrofits for energy efficient replacements
• Design consultancy and project management for equipment retrofits
• Achieve Green Building certifications (eg. Green Mark, LEEDs, WELLs etc) for clients through conducting gap analysis and proposing solutions for implementation to enhance building performance
• Work closely with sales team in introducing sales strategies, technical scope analysis, capability demonstrations, development of proposals and projects cost estimates
