• Perform drawing and design work using BIM (Building Information
  Modelling).
• Coordinate and prepare design documentation for Civil & Structural
  engineering projects.
• Performing building/site inspections.
• Attend progress meetings
• Degree in Civil Engineering from local or recognized foreign universities, preferrable to be recognized by Singapore Professional Engineering Board.
• Prior work experience in civil/structural firm environment is advantageous.
• Fresh graduate with good results is encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and BIM
• Possess Class 3/3A driving license preferred.
• Singaporeans preferred.

Job Description.

• Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress and coordinating activities.
• Liase with sub-contractors constantly to ensure timely progress and assisted in preparing progress reports.
• Provide advice and resolve any emerging problems.
• Ensure workmanship, procedures and method statements are in accordance to specified standards
• Orders materials and equipment and takes care of the permits, performing equipment, material, and routine site inspections.

• Establishes and maintains excellent working relationships with clients.

Job Requirements.

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil)
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience
• Good knowledge in detailed design of engineering works
• Familiar with codes of practices, relevant regulations and submission requirements
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English

Job Responsibilities

• Design and development of Junction Box, Power Distribution Boards, Control Panels and other Bartec’s products for hazardous areas.
• Attend to client’s technical queries during project execution phase.
• Work closely with proposal team for the execution during project execution phase.
• Prepare GA, SLD and schematic diagram when required.
• Ensure BOM list is complete and correct on GAD drawings and into SAP System.
• Ensure design in accordance to Bartec’s standards.
• Supervision of works, quality inspection, maintain quality records and documents as per ISO standards.
• Prepare and attend to client’s inspection and testing requirement/FAT of job in hand when required.
• Work closely with document controller to prepare, compile, and submit project documentation.
• Coordinate work with other disciplines, other offices, and other project team members.
• Ensure that Company’s interests are always maintained within the project while ensuring a positive client relationship.
• Visit project sites as and when required.
• Other ad-hoc duties deemed fit and necessary by the company.

Job Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience, preferable in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical and other related industrial plant.
• Good fundamental of Electrical Safety and Area Classification
• Good knowledge of Explosion Proof and Flame Proof, IP protection Class.
• Good knowledge of Electrical Instrument, Protection System.
• Proficiency in computer knowledge of Microsoft Office software, AutoCAD, Inventor, SAP etc.
