• To assist in the formulation and preparation of operating procedures for operations, maintenance works, equipment testing, plant emergencies and optimisation of the plant’s performance.
• To provide support to BCP, IQC, R & D, ISO, external and internal audit and any other activities.
• To conduct subordinates’ performance reviews to determine competency, knowledge and contributions of shift personnel.
• To provide supervision, leadership and build a harmonious, committed and motivated team, working cooperatively with management in pursuit of organizational goals.
• To be responsible for personnel matters of his staff such as leave attendance, conduct, discipline and provide counselling.
• To provide in-depth training and operational knowledge to the subordinates in line with the plant’s succession planning.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor or plant management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical)
• Possess 10 years work experience as Operations Engineer in WtE or power plant industry
• Strong technical and O&M expertise in WtE including stoker grates, furnace, steam boilers, flue gas treatment, steam turbine-generator, water and wastewater treatment plant, steam and condensate system, air cooled condenser system, closed loop feedwater system, electrical transmission and distribution system and control and instrumentation system.
• Skilled in comprehending P&ID, PFD, SLD.
• Strong experience with LOTO
• Has good management mindset
• This is a 2 years contract role

• Designer/ 2D and 3D Mechanical Drafter
• To produce detailed engineering drawings of a part and/or a product
• The drawings (provide rendering drawing) contain mechanical systems for enclosures, dimensions, materials and standard components such as Aluminium Profile, Sheet Steel enclosure/ cabinets, considering factors such as material selection, structural integrity, and manufacturing processes
• Conduct analysis and testing to validate and optimize designs

Responsibilities:

• Quality and reliability expert with a track record of improving the quality of semiconductor ICs during New Product Introduction (NPI) as well as the product life-cycle.
• Establish and be responsible for the quality and reliability throughout the product/IC life cycle.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define and ensure processes in place to provide the data required to manage quality and reliability.
• Interface with suppliers on a regular basis to track and drive root cause, resolve issues, track return material authorizations, corrective actions (OCAPs), and failure analysis.
• Work with suppliers and SMEs to provide material waivers including assessment, documentation, and protocols.
• Drive supplier process audits, product audits, 8D reports and summarize results for Exec Management as well as Global Operations team.
• Technical support of Global operations team for continuous improvement initiatives, as well as qualification and application of ICs.
• Travel up to 25%.
