• Develop inspection & test plans as per project requirement.
• Develop project specific procedures such as correspondence transmittal, material submission, inspection request, etc.
• Test all items in inspection and test plan at work site or laboratory to verify conformation to the specified requirements.
• Monitoring of all Quality Control & Quality Assurance related activities of the project.
• Develop QAQC standard forms & templates to be utilized by the project.
• Liaise with external laboratory to carry out the testing of materials.
• Coordinate with Consultant and Client pertaining on all QA/QC related matters.
• Assist Manager in preparing handing over documents and handing over process.
• Ensure all site inspection records, QAQC documents and Testing records are up to date.
• Responsible for the compliance to safety and occupational health practices to be implemented at QAQC section.

• Assist in internal/external audit.
• Any ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Degree / Diploma holder with minimum 5 years of experience in concrete technology, inspection, quality control and quality assurance procedures related to the production of high-quality pre-cast reinforced concrete products.
• Prior experience in working in construction site preferred, especially in Civil Projects.
• Familiar with local regulations pertaining to Builder’s licence, Work Head Registration or others related requirement.

The potential candidate will be involved in the design of infrastructure type of works (mostly Marine related). The company pays 13 months fixed annual salary with 21 days of annual leave. The C&S Engineer is responsible for liaising with consultants to develop the structural works and support tender team to prepare technical submission.

Responsibilities:

• To work with the C&S consultants to develop a structural scheme for structures and buildings
• To carry out engineering analysis to assess the structures' stability and load to be sustained
• To prepare temporary works design for construction activities
• To prepare a technical submission and project quality plan for tender projects
• To carry out engineering design according to Eurocodes or relevant international design codes
• To prepare a submission to authorities for approval of design
• Provide technical advice to team members/colleagues in supporting or leading roles and embrace a culture that values teamwork
• To attend project meetings with Clients and Consultants from other disciplines
• To attend site progress meetings and reply to technical queries

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• A minimum of 2-5 years of working experience in a local engineering consulting company or in CW01 A1 general contractor company as C&S Engineer
• Experience of tender (technical part including ERSS Plan, Site Utilization Plan, Construction methodology etc) - Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures
• Competent user of relevant engineering software(Microsoft Project, Power Point etc)
• Able to interact and work with colleagues and members of other consultants at various level

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the commissioning and testing of electrical installations and equipment to ensure they meet required standards and specifications
• Prepare and review commissioning plans, procedures, and reports
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate and execute commissioning activities
• Identify and resolve any electrical issues or discrepancies during the commissioning process
• Provide technical support and guidance to site teams during the installation and testing of electrical systems
• Ensure all commissioning activities comply with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of commissioning activities
• Participate in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electrical Commissioning Engineer in the engineering industry
• Experience in height tension is a plus
• Proven track record of successfully commissioning electrical systems and equipment
• Excellent understanding of electrical engineering principles, codes, and regulations
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in the use of commissioning software and tools
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
