A site engineer is responsible for the planning, design, and construction of civil engineering projects, such as roads, dams, bridges, and buildings. They are responsible for many aspects of a construction project, including:

• DesignSite engineers evaluate the soil conditions, topography, drainage, and environmental considerations to ensure the design is implemented successfully. They also draft blueprints.
• ConstructionSite engineers manage the construction teams, subcontractors, and equipment on the site. They also ensure that the construction adheres to safety regulations and project timelines.
• Quality assuranceSite engineers perform quality assurance tests to ensure that the materials and workmanship meet the required standards.
• Technical adviceSite engineers provide technical advice during construction work and identify and resolve technical issues.
• CollaborationSite engineers collaborate with clients, construction crews, architects, designers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and analyze cabin interior and mechanical components in support of aircraft interior modification projects.

* Develop drawings (e.g. LOPA, installation drawings, production drawings, etc), work instructions, procedures and recommendations.

* Develop engineering substantiation reports (e.g. Weight & Balance, Structural, Flammability reports) and Engineering Authorizations (EAs).

* Coordinate with FAA DERs and DARs, EASA CVEs and/or local civil aviation authorities for any necessary assistance and/or approvals.

* Support interior and mechanical aspects of proposal development, customer and supplier meetings including onsite modification technical support.

* Other duties as assigned.

* Temporary assignment travel of up to 3 months in the US and other countries in Asia is required.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering); Experience in related commercial aircraft field either in cabin interior design or technical services would be an added advantage.

- Able to research and analyze Boeing or Airbus documents (e.g. SRM, IPC, AMM, etc.) as well as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) documents (e.g. Service Bulletins, CMM, etc.).

- Able to create engineering installation and assembly drawings using CATIA V5 or INVENTOR and AutoCAD. The candidate should already understand standard engineering drawing convention such as ASME Y14.5.

- Knowledge of aircraft seating, interior components (e.g. carpets, curtains, galleys, partitions, floor and ceiling structures, etc) and décor materials.

- Knowledge of aircraft structures analysis using both Classical and FEA Methods and ability to use FEA software such as ANSYS/NASTRAN an added advantage.

- Knowledge of FAA CFR 14 Part 25 and equivalent EASA CS Regulations.

- Candidates with at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience will be considered.

Purpose and Scope
The C&S Designer plays a pivotal role in creating and managing 3D models of projects which is crucial to the successful delivery of building projects.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Participate in design and model coordination meetings (for C&S) and review sessions when required
• Enforce BIM strategies, processes and standards, model content and quality control for the discipline/assigned scope of works
• Implement and manage BIM Execution Plan
• Creation of 3D model content and modelling using specified tools and/or prepare 2D drawings in
• Revit/AutoCAD as relevant or required
• Generate clash detection report and other relevant reports from 3D models
• To develop documentation for submission to Authorities including BIM e-submission
• Archival of 3D models, prepare user handover and related documentation
• Drawing production from 3D models and administer 3D models/drawings distribution to relevant users in compliance with stipulated procedures
