Responsibilities

• Involved in design development, drawings and material submissions for approval, QA/ QC works such as inspection,testing & commissioning, handing over of installation.
• Attend meetings and preparation of reports for site progress and schedules. Coordinate site safety management system.
• Liaise and coordinate ACMV installations with main contractor, suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Supervision and monitor daily site work done, and plan for catchup as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant working experience in construction.
• Experience in ACMV, chilled water system installation and design. Able to perform basis engineering calculation with MS Excel.
• Good communication, independent and can liaise with main contractor and sub-contractors effectively.
• Good understanding of engineering principles and drawings.

As an Engineer under Engineering- Manufacturing System and Automation, you will be tasked to provide operational technical support to drive productivity and product quality with GxP compliance and regulatory requirements. You will also assist to drive/ execute control and automation projects and provide maintenance, backup and restore for IPC and PLCs. You will also carry out / support investigation for non-conformances.

In this role, a typical day will include:

· 1st level engineering support for major equipment downtime [24x7 supports]

· Focus on solving recurring/ long-term equipment issues through detailed understanding of the design or engineering concepts.

· Maintain and perform routine check and backup/restore for Industrial PCs/ PLCs.

· Lead and support automation/control related projects. Develop/review project documentations and related SOPs. Perform equipment/software validation.

· Prepare training materials on respective process/ system/ equipment in term of operation, maintenance or troubleshooting.

· Innovate, provide and implement ideas for process or equipment improvement.

· Ensure the system/equipment are comply with HSE, and Alcon quality requirement

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

· Minimum 0-3 years of intensive hands on experiences in technical (Electrical/ Mechatronic /Electronic/Physics/ Automation) troubleshooting and experience on Siemens S7/TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT and/or Allen Bradley PLC.

· Experience on factory automation system installation/validation and understanding of GMP/GDP requirement.

Summary of Job Description

To manage and administer the organization’s systems, Active Directory and virtual desktop infrastructure to ensure high availability, security and performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Install, configure, upgrade and administer Windows servers.

2. Manage and administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File & Print and Office 365.

3. Perform regular system OS, firmware patching, bug-fixing and upgrading.

4. Perform regular system performance and security monitoring to identify any possible performance issue and intrusions.

5. Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware and OS upgrades, resource optimization and capacity planning.

6. Manage, monitor and administer VMware Horizon VDI to ensure remote access is secure.

Requirements

1. Advanced Diploma or Degree in the filed of Computer Science, Information Systems or Software Engineering and/or 2-5 years or more of equivalent work experience.

2. Advantage to possess the MSCE certification.

3. Minimum 2 years of experience in either Healthcare or Hospitality industry but not compulsory.

4. Minimum 2 years extensive hands-on experience in managing and administering Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File & Print Services.

5. Strong technical knowledge and experience administering and configuring VMware ESXi, Microsoft Windows Server 201x and 202x.

6. Strong experience and/or good knowledge in Microsoft Active Directory.

7. Good knowledge in Incident, Problem and Change Management framework such as ITIL.

8. Experience in MS SQL Database would be advantage.

9. Strong written, oral, interpersonal communication and presentation skills.

Requirements

• Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or equivalent engineering education.

• More than 3 yrs experience working on site installation and Greenfield project environment.
• Experience working at process/equipment construction site, plant installation, EPC, or equivalent.
• With experience in generating ITP and specification document
• Ability to read, understand & demonstrate the P&ID and PFD drawings to site work.
• Proficient to read and understand engineering plan drawings like piping and pipe support plan, equipment layout mechanical installation plan.

JOB SUMMARY

The candidate will focus on improving the speed and accuracy of the system while minimizing false positives and false negatives during inference. This role involves analyzing the current end-to-end process, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimizations to achieve higher efficiency and reliability in defect detection.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Process Analysis and Optimization:

• Study the existing vision AI pipeline, from image capture to inference on embedded hardware.
• Identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement in model architecture, preprocessing, or hardware integration.

Model Performance Enhancement:

• Reduce false positives and false negatives through techniques such as threshold tuning, data augmentation, and advanced training methods.

Hardware Deployment:

• Refine model deployment on embedded devices by leveraging techniques like quantization, pruning, and knowledge distillation to improve performance within resource constraints.

Data Management:

• Analyze and improve training datasets by including diverse and high-quality samples to enhance model generalization.
• Implement feedback loops to continuously update datasets with edge cases and anomalies encountered during production.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
