Requirements

• Strong background in IT, Computer Science / Computer Engineering, or related discipline

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Release Engineer to develop, maintain, and optimize tools and processes that improve engineering productivity and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will drive alignment between development and operations teams, enhance automation practices, and deliver high-quality solutions that support continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and administer tools to automate operational tasks and improve productivity.
• Create reusable, scalable, and testable automation scripts and tools for routine tasks.
• Drive standardization, automation, and self-service practices in the SDLC/SDLC2 processes.
• Identify and implement industry best practices and pursue continuous improvement opportunities.
• Propose, research, and prototype new technologies, tools, and concepts, integrating them into team practices.
• Develop and implement CI/CD roadmaps for projects.
• Configure and manage Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, enabling smooth production deployments.
• Configure and integrate OSS, Sonar, and Fortify for continuous quality assurance, including automation testing and load testing.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance automation and cloud adoption.
• Support Agile/Scrum methodologies during project execution.
• Automate continuous delivery and on-demand capacity management solutions.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software and system issues efficiently.
• Develop configuration and infrastructure solutions for internal deployments.
• Build and manage EAPI with unit testing, code coverage, and enhancements.
• Suggest architecture and process improvements.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and vendor products.
• Ensure critical system security using best-in-class security solutions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in release engineering, DevOps, or related roles.
• Hands-on expertise with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in automation scripting (Python, Bash, etc.) and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with static and dynamic code analysis tools (SonarQube, Fortify, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
• Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience with security compliance frameworks and standards.
