• Attend meetings inclusive technical meetings (not withstanding to minutes down the meeting if necessary) and site walks during the construction phase of project
• Keep track of test reports, tests, ST, Green Mark scheme and constructability scheme
• Document control and compilation accordance to company ISO standard

Requirements

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering / Building
• 3-5 years architectural and structural coordinator experience in building construction Project
• Good knowledge of Structural specifications & requirements
• Preference will be given to those who can commence immediately

We are looking for Structural Fitters to build and maintain Pipe and Structural Systems.

The selected candidate will get to read blueprints, set specifications, lay out plans for fabrication and installation.

Candidate should be able to use mechanical tools following safety guidelines. Ideally with experience in construction sector and installation of structures with different materials (steel etc.)

Preferably have strong numerical and communication skills and one will find great excitement in seeing the systems built and commissioned.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints to understand requirements
• Set and modify specifications
• Inspect and prepare sites for construction operations
• Must know gas cutting and welding (Basic welding)
• Must have basic knowledge fit-up inspection
• Must have on-site work experience
• Use and maintain tools
• Collaborate with other workers (e.g. welder, painters) to produce finished constructions
• Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment (e.g. goggles)

Requirements

• Proven experience as Structural fitter
• Knowledge of health and safety guidelines when dealing with dangerous equipment or chemicals
• Good numerical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills

Ability to carry loads

1. Engaged in the preparation of engineering drafting input for building and construction projects, with particular emphasis on structural steel.
2. Drafting of detailed engineering drawings, shop and fabrication drawings, cutting lists and nesting plans etc.
3. Generating the Materials Requisition Form (RF) to facilitate procurement.
4. Ensure all works to be performed as per technical and project specification, guidelines and Company procedures, under the supervision and approval of senior staff.
5. Undertake back-drafting of drawings to reflect correction and amendments.
6. Revise drawings to incorporate subsequent modifications.
7. Assists in the production of as-built drawings following receipt of marked up drawings from the project teams.
8. Carry out engineering site surveys to ascertain physical site situations for incorporation as details in drawings.
9. Attend technical meeting at site on an ad-hoc basis.
10. Perform any tasks that are required by Management and as assigned for upholding the ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 Integrated Management System.
