• Plan, develop and monitor work schedules to ensure timely completion of allocated tasks and schedules
• Prepare reports to clients and project manager on progress, delays, defects and rectification measures for the M&E works
• To check and assess temporary works by the contractors on site to ensure that the C&S, M&E and building works are safe and in compliance with all relevant regulations.
• To ensure that records of all mechanical and electrical engineering works including records of tests, defect rectification, inspections, work progress, material and equipment on site, safety, etc, are timely updated and properly kept, to facilitate the project completion, Rl, TOP and CSC inspections, and Handing Over and Taking Over (HOTO).
• Check and ensure that all mechanical and electrical works are executed in accordance with the design, specifications and codes of practice.
• To make inspections of the works performed and to be performed on site so as to ensure that the works are being executed according to the necessary standards, performance, quality and workmanship.
• Liaise and coordinate with client and/or the Consultant/ Qualified Person to resolve technical and/or interfacing issues with other Site Management Services and contractors.
• To verify reports and claims submitted by subcontractors / vendors/ suppliers and specialist contractors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent (due to Project requirement, qualification has to be PEBoard recognised)
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in construction industry for Civil Engineering projects is preferred

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.
• Prior experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Proficiency in front end technologies such as Angular.
• Prior experience in backend technologies such as Java, Python, Node.js.
• Proven experience in low code application platforms such as Pega.
• Knowledge in one or more of the following processes: agile processes, continuous integration/deployment, cloud/PaaS platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP), serverless frameworks, and container technology like Docker would be an added advantage.
• Prior experience with low code development and wireframing tools such as Figma
• Familiarity with unit testing.
• Additional advantageous traits include being self-driven, independent, strong problem-solving skills, good communication, interpersonal skills, and excellent presentation and listening abilities.
• Hands-on experience with at least one full project development lifecycle in Pega.
• Relevant professional certification in Pega is a plus.
• Prior experience in Agile and UX development environments is an added advantage.
• Advantageous skills include consulting or business analysis experience, knowledge of system solutioning for mid/large-scale projects, understanding of web services, REST APIs, sFTP, and security concepts.
• Extensive experience in defining UAT test scenarios and facilitate SIT and UAT tests.
• Ability to define system interface specifications.

Job Purpose

The Executive/Senior Engineer is responsible for preparing, tracking and executing the workplan of Maintenance and Engineering (M&E) Group. The core focus of the job will be on ensuring quality and consistency across maintenance branches.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and improve processes for M&E group to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
• Prepare, implement and track yearly M&E Group work plan
• Conduct joint investigation with branch engineers for fault findings and incident investigation
• Coordinate, collate and prepare performance and maintenance reports across the branches for submission to the authorities
• Facilitate audits conducted by internal auditors, the authority and other external agencies
• Facilitate and coordinate external projects with LTA an/or external parties
• Maybe required to perform work during night hours and over weekends and public holidays

Qualifications and Work Experience

• Degree in Engineering
• Prior work experience in railway industry or process quality and planning will be advantageous
• Knowledge of Quality Management standards will be advantageous

Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with automation software such as Power Automate is desired
• Basic coding skills (VBA, R, or Python) will be advantages
