REQUIRMENTS TO PERFORM THE JOB DUTIES

a) Bachelor of Engineering / Technology (B.E. / B. Tech: equivalent to BS) in Electrical Engineering.

b) 6-10 years of experience in Electrical Testing design and ECO coordination.

c) Knowledge of AutoCAD , PLC and cable design

d) Desire for continuous education and training effort.

e) Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels within engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation and contribute to the continuous improvement of Safety, Quality, Environment, and Health Management Systems, including but not limited to SS506 Part 3, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and IATF 16949.
• Act responsibly to ensure the safety of oneself and others who may be affected by actions or omissions at work, as per legal obligations.
• Assist management in mitigating Major Accident Hazards to As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) levels and escalate concerns when necessary.
• Ensure adherence to Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) in all operational processes.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, and/or polymer science.
• Experience in process safety management, quantitative risk assessments (e.g., Layer of Protection Analysis - LOPA), or safety case preparation is an advantage.
• SCEM certification or possession of a Steam Engineer/Boiler Attendant certificate is preferred.
• Working knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, SS506-Part 3 standards, cost control practices, and relevant regulations.

Job Description:

• Analyse the needs of users, design, test and develop the software solutions to meet those needs by utilizing the principals of computer science and information technology.
• To provide flexible solutions to integrated applications, recommend upgrades for existing network, systems and programs, and to ensure any new product integrations are hassle free.
• Analyse product requirements and implementation of feasible solutions to meet these requirements
• Update exsisting software, to enhance software capabilities, develop and take charge of software testing and validation procedures while ensuring the continued functionality of a program during maintenance and testing phase
• Document each aspect of a system or application as a reference for future upgrades and maintenance
• Revisit the development process to fix bugs or address client or consumer concerns, supporting existing data patches and enhancements.
• Work with the business analysts and users to ensure policy premiums are calculated as required.
• Work with computer engineers to integrate any hardware and software systems to develop specifications and performance requirements.
• Involved in UAT deployment and support, as well as support End to End Intergration testing.
• Handle change requests and delivering them sucessfully in a timely manner.

Statement Of Purpose (Overall Purpose of Job)

In charge of the execution of all Solar Installation works inclusive of planning, scheduling, controlling, coordination and ensure works carried out are in accordance to approved shop drawings / specification and complete within the completion date. In addition, budget control and contract administration.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
(A) Specific :

• Evaluate costing received for electrical works.
• Vet through shop drawings to ensure all are in compliance to technical specifications / authority requirements prior to submission.
• Liaise and have meetings with Clients and Consultants on technical resolution / clarification, inspection and submission.
• To be the lead contact point for all Project issues.
• To attend weekly site meeting.
• To build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationship and meet Client’s expectations.
• To manage, coordinate, work and oversee all workers, sub-contractors and vendors to ensure proper work execution and good workmanship.
• To plan, implement, track the work progress and submit weekly progress report so as to ensure that the project executed is on time and within budget.
• To monitor project cost including variation works and submission of supporting documents.

(B) General :

• To prepare and submit progress reports.
• To maintain proper documentation for all projects.
• To coordinate and work with other departments.
• To engage, coordinate and oversee all project works to ensure successful completion and handing over to Clients.
• Other duties as assigned.

(C) Safety:

• To follow the safety procedures, rules and regulations and eliminate or reduce hazard at the work place.

Job Requirements

(A) Education, Qualifications & Special Training :

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent.

(B) Knowledge & Skills :

• Well-versed with installation of M&E services and builder’s works.
• Experience in Design and Delivery Execution of Solar System Works and Load Sizing Of Solar Systems.

• PC literate and knowledge in MS Office.
