• Perform onsite testing and commissioning of completed AV projects to ensure system functionality
• To be responsible in identifying defective or failed equipment and to resolve issues when arise.
• Responsible for testing of various types of cables/products before, during and after installation and rack assembly and equipment installation.
• Supporting Preventative Maintenance, Setup and Operation of audio and video systems.
• Perform system upgrades, manage issues, troubleshoot incidents, and identify root causes to ensure system reliability.
• Research, design and implement audio processing related modules. diagram for audio, video and control systems. Involved in construction of Engineering Design.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required paperwork and reports.
• Provide regular updates to the Project Lead/Director on project progress and any arising challenges.
• Any other ad-hoc duties if required.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum of 1 year of working experience in operating AV systems.
• Familiarity with AV + VC products such as Biamp, Crestron, Extron, BOSE, Barco, Poly, Cisco, Logitech, etc.
• Experience with Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp software, and firmware upgrades is an added advantage.
• A team player with the ability to work independently
• Training will be provided to ensure familiarity with systems, processes, and equipment.

As an Civil Engineer at Taihan Cable &Solution Co., Ltd in Singapore Branch, you will participate in the design, development, maintenance, testing, and manufacturing goods support for turnkey project’s progress cycle in Singapore.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Requires turn-key project and transmission working experience above 3 years with relevant technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate, statistically analyze data, and effectively report problems through written and/or graphical formats.
• Preferred knowledge of the process of cable works.
• Hands-on hardware design experience with analog and digital design solutions; including design requirements, detailed design & review, component selection & evaluation, procurement, design validation, and release.
• Experience with engineering test equipment.
• Ability to apply knowledge of installation, repair, and reinstatement at the road.
• Ability to write technical and status reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
• Demonstrated high level of accountability, responsibility, and technical competence.
• Must be task focused and have a results oriented attitude and approach to the job responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a process driven team environment.
