As the Facility & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility operation, maintenance and projects within our electricity generating plants, ensuring compliance with local regulatory policies. In addition, you will be involved in the development of a Facilities Asset Management Plan, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules & activities.
• Respond to work order requests and equipment maintenance schedules & activities.
• Investigate, analyze and determine root cause and report breakdowns and faults effectively.
• Carry out and review facilities’ maintenance programs and recommend actions as required.
• Identify and report on plant and equipment inefficiencies and possible improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate operational systems and facility infrastructure to ascertain and improve operational efficiencies.
• Monitor and review plant infrastructure, asset life expectancy and implement long-term maintenance plans.
• Prepare Purchasing Documents for the purchase of spares & the purchase of Work Services required to carry out the rectification works of the faulty equipment, faulty buildings’ infrastructure etc. (E.g. Preparation of tender specifications for service contracts such as cleaning, landscaping, pest control, waste disposals, card access systems, lifts & sewerage treatment plants’ service & maintenance works, auto-gates/ auto-barriers maintenance).
• Prepare the Facility Asset Management Plan (AMP).
• Design and oversee the implementation of facility expansion, layout, systems, and quality controls.
• Engage contractors and establish procedures to supervise and monitor the performance of contractors to ensure that the company’s requirements for work services are met.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
• Prepare technical reports on breakdowns, proposals and compliance documents.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Management Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with SAP, and MS Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of the building regulatory requirements in Singapore.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Experienced in managing small to medium scale plant & building facilities incorporating maintenance plans, scheduling, costings, and cost controlling.
• Experienced in carrying out plant & buildings maintenance works, demonstrates personal creativity and/or flexibility in problem solving and budgeting process approaches

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer specializing in platform development to design and optimize enterprise-grade CI/CD systems. You will be responsible for building tools and platforms to streamline code submission, automated testing, building, and deployment for development teams. Ideal candidates should possess strong Python development skills and in-depth Kubernetes experience, with a passion for driving operational efficiency and scalability.

Responsibilities:

· Design and develop enterprise-grade CI/CD platforms to support code submission, automated testing, build, deployment, and release processes.

· Enable multi-environment (development, testing, production) automated deployment, including one-click rollback functionalities.

· Build easily integrable APIs and SDKs for seamless adoption by development teams.

· Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.

· Provide dynamic scaling and resource allocation capabilities for CI/CD environments integrated with Kubernetes.

· Implement GitOps workflows to manage environments and deployments through code.

· Design and implement distributed, high-availability operational tools and services to support large-scale R&D and deployment needs.

· Optimize build and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce resource usage.

· Design and maintain service scheduling and deployment solutions based on Kubernetes.

· Develop Kubernetes Operators and custom controllers to automate cluster tasks (e.g., scaling, health checks).

· Provide efficient multi-tenant isolation and access control mechanisms.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Python for developing high-performance tools and services with experience in microservices architecture.

• Familiarity with API design (e.g., RESTful, gRPC) and the ability to develop high-concurrency, highly reliable server-side applications.

• Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and plugin development.

• Deep understanding of Kubernetes core components and scheduling mechanisms.

• Experience in developing Kubernetes Operators or Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs).

• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Helm and Kustomize for efficient application deployment and management.

• Knowledge of GitOps workflows and experience with tools like ArgoCD or FluxCD for automated deployments.

• Experience designing and optimizing complex CI/CD pipelines for multi-step and multi-environment processes.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.

• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and logging systems such as ELK or Loki.

• Experience developing operational tools using Go or other cloud-native programming languages.

• Familiarity with distributed task systems (e.g., Celery) or message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).

• Proven experience in designing and maintaining large-scale cloud-native platforms or DevOps systems.

A member of the Electrical team, you will be responsible for performing Electrical maintenance works in accordance to maintenance plan including carrying out projects as required.

Job Descriptions:

• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve plant faults
• Execute approved plant improvement works and prepare technical specifications for equipment parts, work services and raise requisition papers
• Perform scheduled plant inspection according to maintenance regime and execution of plant maintenance activities
• Supervision of maintenance contract works and prepare work procedures for all maintenance activities
• Preparation of weekly and monthly activity reports, overhaul, technical and trip reports
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
