8. Assist the Production Manager to identify the skill level of production employees and distribute suitable work tasks to achieve higher throughput whenever necessary.

9. Manage and resolve grievances and conflicts arising. Motivate employees to boost their morale.

10. Work with Production Manager, Welding Technical Advisor, Engineering Manager, General Manager and HR department to develop, implement and conduct training to enhance the competency or upgrading of skills for production employees.

11. Assist the Production Manager to conduct annual performance appraisal for all reporting employees whenever necessary.

12. Work closely with the QHSE Manager/ MR to resolve quality issues.

13. Perform review on PCR and work closely with the sales, engineering and quality department or customer to clarify all technical specifications and job requirements.

14. Assist the Production Manager in resolving bottleneck situations and determining root cause, corrections and corrective actions for internal rejection and scrap.

15. Assist the Production Manager in initiating purchase requisition for any requirements whenever necessary.

16. Assist the Production Manager in preparing monthly reports whenever necessary.

17. Work closely with all departments to resolve any arising issues.

Requirements:

· Diploma/ Degree preferably in Manufacturing/ Mechanical/ Engineering discipline or equivalent.

· Preferably 2 years of relevant experience in the metal machining or oil and gas industries.

· Possess good knowledge in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

Responsibilities:

Job Description

• Supporting the Power Plant to meet the contractual, technical and commercial set-up and operation.
• Prepare the scope of works for electrical services, specifications of spare parts for the maintenance work.
• Maintain and updated all the drawings, data and maintenance record for all electrical equipment and plant utilities in Power Plant.
