- Undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by Project Manager related to project execution

Duties:

- Planning and execution of project plans at construction site

- Execute project plan and ensure works completed as per schedule and in accordance to contract specification and design drawing

- Ensure construction site fulfill authority's code of practice and comply with safety house rules.

- Handle correspondence job paperwork and submission

- Liaise with all parties involved in the project including authorities, consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers

- Attend site meetings and inspections, report regularly on progress and monitor schedule

- Prepare and monitor work schedules, project costing, procurement, and coordination with all partied involved to ensure work progress smoothly and completed within target time and budget

- Supervise and report progress of the work to Project Manager

- Ensuring project progress are on schedule and to meet the timeline given

- Make sure having the latest construction drawings on-site and work is constructed as per drawing given.

- Update drawing if there is any revision and to keep a updates copy in site office and head office

- Feedback to Project Manager on any issue encounter on site and proposed feasible solution.

- Any other adhoc duties assigned by Project Manager

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in site supervision or engineering roles within the construction industry.
• Previous experience managing construction projects or working on-site is essential.

We are looking for an experienced Optics Engineer to be part of our R&D team. In this role, you will focus on the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes for optical components and systems. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of experience in optics engineering, with a strong background in manufacturing processes and quality assurance, ensuring the production of high-precision optical products.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Design and Improvement:

• Develop and refine manufacturing processes for optical components such as lenses, mirrors, prisms, and coatings.
• Enhance fabrication techniques, including grinding, polishing, coating, and assembly, to boost efficiency and precision.

Production Support:

• Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve manufacturing challenges.
• Ensure production processes meet all required quality standards and performance specifications.

Equipment and Technology Management:

• Identify, acquire, and maintain essential manufacturing equipment for optical production.
• Implement advanced technologies, including automated systems and CNC machinery, to improve production capabilities.

Collaboration with Design Teams:

• Partner with optical design teams to ensure new products are manufacturable.
• Provide design feedback to optimize production processes and outcomes.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, technical reports, and work instructions.
• Analyze production data and generate reports on key performance metrics.

Continuous Process Improvement:

• Drive initiatives to improve product yield, reduce costs, and enhance cycle times.
• Stay current on the latest advancements in optical manufacturing and integrate new techniques to improve the production process.

Technical Documentation and Standards:

• Take responsibility for creating, reviewing, and maintaining technical drawings, as well as managing part number creation and maintenance.
