Working in the engineering team, the senior network engineer have extensive knowledge and experience in installation, termination of network equipment (Copper & Fiber Outlet, patch panel and cable management). He/ She will possess hands-on experience in testing & programming of network switch, router, WLAN controller, AP and firewall. He/ she have relevant system architect in data center infrastructure design and implementation including server (VMware), SAN storage and network.

Roles & Responsibilities

Senior Project/Site Engineer is responsible for assisting the Project Manager on the progress of the projects/site works and manpower related aspects of the project. They are to oversee drawing management and make sure the updated drawings to the clients and subcontractor are issued.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operation
• To study tender / construction drawings, specifications and contracts to understand project requirements
• Liaise with consultants, client & main / sub-contractors and coordinate for site activities arrangement
• Perform site inspection and ensure that the work are carried out based on the project specification and construction drawing / final approved drawing from authorities
• Lead a team of supervisors / foreman for works coordination with main/sub-contractors and/or authorities and/or consultant on project progress and technical issues

• Support Quantity Surveyor (QS) in verifying progress payments and claims

Job Requirements:

2. Data Entry for the project material delivery, Bill of Quantity and Tender Pricing.

3. Serves as liaison between the user and in-house contractor on all ACMV related system.

4. Provide sizing and design of ACMV system (chilled water) for individual room

5. Coordinate with supplier / sub-contractor of the tender specification and obtain the quotation from them

6. Control and supervise workmen to make sure standards of building performance, quality, time and cost schedules, and safety are complied.

7. Responsible for keeping daily work record, including additional work claims to the clients and from the subcontractors

Job Description

Detailed Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Support software verification and validation processes.
• Participate in onsite activities including system installation, system configuration, and pre-on-site test activities.
• Lead assigned dedicated work scope of Test and Commissioning (T&C).
• Participate and coordinate on-site test and commissioning activities with customers as witnesses.
• Conduct all required test procedures, methodologies, and equipment testing activities related to the project to obtain sign-off from the customer.
• Prepare technical proposals (testing and commissioning) for submission to regulatory authorities.
• Arrange all test equipment required for testing in coordination with the site manager and team leader.
• Mobilize required test equipment and ensure readiness for testing.
• Coordinate and liaise with customers on the application of Permit-To-Work for testing activities.
• Document and communicate procedures, configurations, and standards effectively.
• Prepare and compile test reports for submission to customers.
• Prepare and draft Method Statement Risk Assessment.
• Supervise and monitor site test activities for each specific T&C work.

Requirements:

• Review and optimize the warehouse inventory stock for electrical discipline-related spares.

• Coordinate with OEM, electrical vendors, service contractors to define scopes, schedules and progress updates.

• Prepare five-year capital plan for discipline-related projects and lead reliability improvement capital projects.

• Expertise in electrical system studies such as short-circuit calculations, load flow analysis, relay coordination, motor starting analysis, harmonics studies and arc flash analysis.

• Proficiency with electrical equipment such as MV/LV switchgear, induction motors, power and control cables, bus ducts, UPS systems, transformers, diesel generators, VFDs, and SS.

• Good understanding of single line diagrams, control schematics, interconnection diagrams and logic diagrams.

• Strong knowledge of Singapore’s earthing, lightning protection

requirements and hazardous area classification.

• Review vendor drawings and electrical design calculations for electrical equipment and perform FAT of electrical systems at

OEM/Vendor sites for electrical projects.

• Execute SAT, loop testing, interlock, function testing, assist in electrical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for electrical projects.

• Prepare project close-out reports, hand over systems to operations and update technical documentation.

• Participate and support the safety, quality and reliability programs of the site.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure performance

standards are met by implementing best practices and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

• Mentor electrical team members in areas of technical expertise and provide training to in-house electrical contractors and operations team on mandatory electrical trainings.

• Network with peers and industry experts to adopt best practices for technology improvement and reliability programs.
