About the role: Support the design and construction management of various Civil and Structural Systems for industrial buildings, with a focus on concrete and steel structures. Assist in the development, design, and execution of these systems across multiple projects.

Responsibilities:
- Support Project Managers in delivering projects on time, within budget, and following quality standards.
- Prepare, issue, and assess tender packages for construction projects.
- Collaborate with Architectural, Process, Mechanical, Electrical, and Quantity Surveying teams to ensure design and construction alignment.
- Address and resolve site-related design issues efficiently.
- Communicate and coordinate with consultants and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage timely submissions and approvals from relevant local authorities.
- Stay updated on the latest industry practices, engineering trends, and technical advancements to maintain a high level of competence.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.

About you:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in design and construction.
- Preferably with experience in industrial building design and construction, with a focus on precast structures and long-span roof trusses.
- Hands-on site experience in piling, sub-structure, and superstructure works involving reinforced concrete, steel structures, and precast elements.
- Experience collaborating with Process, Mechanical, and Electrical teams, as well as Quantity Surveyors.
- Proven ability to liaise effectively with consultants and contractors.
- Experience in reviewing shop drawings for precast and steel structures, and providing detailed design input for computer-aided design teams.
- Strong knowledge of element design based on relevant codes and standards.
- Proficiency with structural design software such as STAAD-Pro, Prokon, Orion, or similar tools (if applicable).

Job Description

• Lead a team of workers and sub-contractors to perform structural work on site.
• In-depth understanding of structural drawings, specifications, and requirements.
• Oversee structural works, and coordinate with clients, consultants, and sub-contractors on structural matters.
• Drawing list submissions, scheduling, structure handover, and coordination with Consultants and Construction Team
• Value engineering, review and approve C&S consultant’s drawings and in-house RC, structural steel, and architectural shop detail drawings.
• Site rectification and inspections.
• Resolving site issues with the Consultant, Construction/Structure Erection, and QA/QC team.
• Project Resource Management
• Approval and Review of Project Schedule
• Carry out work scheduling, project supervision, and documentation.
• Ensure timely completion and good quality of work.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement measures to mitigate construction project risks.
• Other ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering and above or equivalent qualifications.
