Summary of Job Responsibilities

DevOps is responsible for integrating developer experience, infrastructure and technology operations support to enhance software development and deliver solutions inclusive of gaming related systems to achieve Sands business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Director of DevOps is to oversee the technology providing infrastructure, security, administration, configuration, troubleshooting, automation and security analysis of solutions within Sands.

The DevOps function will deploy and support cloud and on-premises infrastructure and services to meet the requirements of business or IT initiatives. The team will develop, maintain and execute infrastructure as code scripts and playbooks to automate deployment and maintenance tasks to ensure the availability, reliability, and efficient operation of the enterprise systems.

The Director will identify the optimal cloud-based solutions, ensure best practice security measures are applied to the solutions, and troubleshoot complex issues through root cause analysis. The position demands someone who is highly technically competent, detail oriented, and driven to stay current with evolving technologies.

In this role, the Director will be responsible for managing the team of DevOps Engineers, and AppSec Engineers responsible for overall technical security posture of developed applications and infrastructure.

The DevOps team will work closely with the Corp IT and Corp Cyber Security leadership in coordinating the strategy, architecture and security initiatives and all auditing activities across all team activities. A key part of the position is supporting compliance efforts related to secure SDLC processes and infrastructure

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Sands’ policies, practices, and procedures.

Education & Certification

• Bachelor's degree required.

• Delivery and presentation of lesson content to children and Youth
• Supervision of primary school children (P1 to P6)/ Youth (secondary) to ensure completion of daily assignments/mentorship session.
• Participate in community-based initiatives to promote the wellbeing of children, Youth, and families.
• Planning and preparation of Teacher’s Guided Activities/ conduct of mentorship program with Youth.

· Responsible for monthly Business efficiency tracking & reporting to CCIB COO. Ensuring discipline and due process for timely delivery against performance targets through effective & regular engagement with business COO’s.

· Provide regular accurate updates to CCIB COO MT on business and productivity performance; ensure that issues are escalated in a timely fashion, with clear actions with timelines and ownership to remedy such escalations are agreed and close accordingly.

· Drive Cost transparency initiative to align cost and insights between financial reporting and Client Journey / Product pillars

· Coordinate the budget forecasting and planning cycle’s in line with timeline as defined by Group Finance & our business partners

Business Initiatives and Implementation

Job Description:

1) Sales Leadership

· Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans for the APAC WSO and lead deployment strategies to optimize sales effectiveness on-property, including achievement of individuals’ sales and team goals. This involves analyzing market trends in the different key source markets, identifying opportunities, and defining sales targets and objectives, in line with global objectives.

· Develop worldwide sales strategic growth plan to capture outbound travel market share potential in China – as a priority and India.

· Assist in developing a strategic sales plan for the region and translate it into specific and measurable segments. Collaborate with property sales leader to ensure successful implementation by the sales team.

· Provide sales leadership and ongoing guidance for all hotel sales activities, encompassing transient, group, and F&B/catering as relevant, both operational and during pre-opening/conversions in the defined territory.

· Collaborate with Director of Capabilities Uplift to assess sales skill levels in WSO and on property sales managers, and deliver relevant training programs.

2) Leadership & Oversight

· Directly responsible for overseeing the APAC WSO personnel. This role is responsible for ensuring all these roles are working effectively to deliver the set strategy and optimize sales processes in line with globally set frameworks & best practices.

3) Revenue Generation

· Responsible for coming up with strategies and ideas that drive net-revenue growth in line with our Corporate and Commercial Strategy and driving sales effectiveness (i.e., better conversion). This includes providing leadership and guidance to support WSO team members and their ability to meet annual business planning objectives.

4) Cross-team Collaboration

· To deliver the above accountabilities, this role is expected to work in partnership with several teams across the organization. We have built a number of global centers of expertise that should be leveraged including Guest Insights & Experience, Data & Analytics, Global Brand & Marketing and Revenue Mgmt. and Distribution. 5) Sales Pipeline

What you’ll do:

• Drive revenue independently and manage a portfolio of business from brand direct clients

Who you are:

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in online advertising in outbound sales.
• Experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, or other online advertising roles
• Strong communication skills with the ability to speak with senior levels and establish long-standing, consultative client relationships
• Existing relationships with decision-makers across verticals such as CPG is a plus
• Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations

The Company

Opportunity to join a global market leader in the high-tech capital equipment manufacturing space as Finance Director overseeing the Global Manufacturing Operations.

The Role

Reporting to the Global VP Finance, you will lead a team to oversee the finance function for Singapore as well as Global Manufacturing Operations. You will be responsible for evaluating operations spend, forecasting, working capital and cost analysis. You will also prepare, analyse, and interpret monthly financial results and forecasts for the company’s financial operations, monthly operations reviews as well as preparation of Quarterly/Annual budget, monthly financial forecasting and variance analysis to actual results. You will also perform analysis of Headcount, Cost of Good Sold and Inventory.

This is a highly visible role within the organization and you will partner closely with the senior leadership team for Singapore and Global Manufacturing Operations to resolve complex business challenges, establish business metrics, and provide insights into future business endeavors as a trusted advisor. You will also drive inventory optimization, gross margin improvement and supplier investments.

Your Profile

As the successful candidate, you will possess a degree or Diploma in Accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience:

- At least 15 years of relevant finance experience partnering with Manufacturing Operations, preferably within the high technology manufacturing environment.

- Experience in partnering with Global operations including purchasing, supply chain and manufacturing will be essential.

- Regional and/or global exposure as well as proven managerial experience is a must.
