Job Description

To support core functions in the MSc degree programmes’ student life activities and administration.

Student Life and Student Club Activities

• Work with students, student leaders and student clubs to organize activities and programmes to promote interaction, build and strengthen the sense of community between student cohorts as well as with alumni
• Oversee and provide support to students for programme-related matters (e.g. accommodation, well-being, etc.)
• Manage Orientation programmes, welcome and end-of-semester events, and other programme events organized by the MSc Programmes Office

Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the core functions of the MSc degree programmes which includes student life, experiential learning, and administration matters.

Corporate Relationship Development

• Establish corporate contacts through a systematic outreach process, follow up on new business projects generation opportunities, maintain working relationships and set up meetings
• Pitch initiatives to corporates, specifically in positioning and securing business projects for our respective MSc programmes
• Scope the business projects with the company, establish an understanding of the objectives, guidelines for workload, deliverables, resources and financial support
• Solicit for feedback on our students’ performances to make recommendations for improvements on projects and associated activities
• Feature success stories prominently in our marketing collaterals and channels such as brochures, websites and e-blasts to encourage more participation from different corporate partners
• Cultivate a sustainable longer-term relationship with corporate partners for further collaborations such as corporate marketing, company visits, recruitment of graduates and sponsorship for various MSc programmes initiatives

Administration of Management Practicum

• Collate a list of business projects, disseminate to our respective MSc students for enrolment, and where needed, conduct interviews for the allocation of projects
• Conduct briefings to students who are undertaking business projects
• Coordinate coaching workshops/classes to prepare students for their undertaking of business projects
• Work with Heads of Departments in appointing project supervisors, including briefing faculty advisors on the role, responsibilities and scope of projects
• Facilitate the first meeting for companies to meet with student groups, where timelines, milestone achievements and deliverables are set and arrange initial face-to-face / Skype sessions with companies
• Obtain the necessary approvals from the academic departments and the MSc Programmes Office
• Monitor and ensure that the students make good progress in completing their business projects and where needed, to help guide and mentor students on their projects, providing feedback as part of evaluation as a consistent moderating party across projects
• Work with corporate partners constantly to ensure that the students get information and meetings at the right time so they can complete the projects on time
• Collate the grading reports for the Experiential Learning module, and get company approval for case-release, if appropriate
• Work with relevant parties to ensure timely and accurate grade entry for the students for their Experiential Learning module
• Systematically collect feedback and evaluation from corporate partners, students, supervisors and develop actions for improvements

Development of System and Process

• Develop, implement and update systematic procedures and processes for MSc Programmes’ Experiential Learning components
• Develop and administer guidelines for the students, supervisors and corporates
• Procure and conceptualize promotional materials to aid in pitching our various initiatives to the corporates such as brochures and e-blasts
• Liaise with the Office of Legal Affairs on the necessary documentation (Company case release form, Non-Disclosure Form etc) and administer guidelines for students, faculty advisors and corporates

Other Responsibilities

• Collaborate and synergize between key stakeholders, not limited to students, faculty advisors, corporates and other key departments in NUS Business School, providing support and fostering rapport where possible
• Benchmarking of how business projects are sourced and facilitated in leading business schools to ensure best practices
• Work with the BIZCareers Office on internships/career opportunities arising from Corporate, business projects/Experiential Learning engagements
• Identify further experiential opportunities for the MSc programmes

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead the Global Corporate Advisory team providing business specific sanctions advice for the Corporate Bank
• Primary contact for APAC stakeholders providing advice on application of the global sanctions policy
• Solicit and interpret Legal guidance to justify risk-based Sanctions decisions on jurisdictions and individuals
• Thought leadership representing Deutsche Bank externally to advocate for industry best practice related to global sanctions compliance
• Manage a metrics led, APAC Sanctions Advisory capability demonstrating efficient risk management and mitigation, whilst working cooperatively with other regional heads and the Global Head of Sanctions Advisory
• Support the Global Head of Sanctions Advisory with stakeholder engagement on changes to sanctions regimes and regulatory engagement on sanctions matters.

Your skills and experience:

• Minimum 10 years of working experience in Sanctions with a Global Financial institution.
• Proven understanding of Corporate Banking Products through experience providing Compliance or AFC support.
• Financial crime thought leader with proven Sanctions subject matter expertise and experience interpreting Global Sanctions Regulations.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a background in Finance. Relevant sanctions compliance qualification from an internationally recognized body or legal qualifications/experience can be considered.
• Strong track record of business engagement balancing commercial considerations with sanctions risk under pressure.
• Ability to objectively evaluate options taking into account multiple sanctions regimes

We are currently seeking a high performing talent to join the SSEA GTS Regional Sales team in the role of Senior Manager / Sales Director, Regional Business Development.

This role reports to Regional Head of Solutions Structuring, South & Southeast Asia, GTS.

Principal Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic workstreams with objective of creating the scalable propositions and sales infrastructure towards sustainable growth of SSEA GTS business. This shall straddle from customer segment strategy to product commercialisation strategy, to people scaling agenda.
• Derive commercialization strategy to drive uptake of trade and structure trade solutions and deliver target business outcome
• Define and implement the learning and upskilling roadmap for SSEA GTS Sales teams in partnership with country teams and subject matter experts
• Active engagement with SSEA markets for assessment of competitive landscape, validate market opportunities and applicability of trade propositions via research and customer insights
• Develop materials to clearly and effectively communicate SSEA GTS Sales Strategy, capability development initiatives, whilst acting as key interface with other areas of the Group, driving collaboration where possible
• Execute data analysis to formulate business and sales intelligence, and presenting the conclusion to senior stakeholders to drive actionable next steps
• Partnership origination and ongoing management, from identifying, selecting, testing, commercialising and monitoring 3rd party partnerships regionally; leading the initial relationship with select partners, negotiating terms, measures of success, coordinating partnership execution and ongoing monitoring of performance
• Represent SSEA GTS Sales in various forums, meetings with global functions and businesses

· Strong project management, process improvement and MI reporting skills

To be successful in this role you should meet some of the following attributes:

• Strategic thinking and high level of business acumen and commercial awareness with proven record to drive initiatives to deliver tangible results
• Typical qualifications include undergraduate or post-graduate degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance or a related field
• Strong credit assessment skills, particularly with regard to more complex and structured facilities with an international dimension
• Extensive knowledge of global trade solutions, services, products and techniques
• Extensive knowledge of the market & market trends, competitive environment and regulatory environment
• Sales & Client Management experience at a senior level including dealing with senior executives
• Experience with data analytics and having digital acumen is a plus. This includes analyzing both internal/external data and determining the best way to represent the conclusion to stakeholders
• An ability to work at fast pace often with limited information/guidance and independently formulate solutions to challenges that arise
• A collaborative team player, who can work on a self-directed basis; and balance multiple diverse priorities and stakeholders
• A high standard of spoken and written English delivered in a style to articulate GTS’s story and drive actionable steps
• Ability to manage and navigate a dynamic and complex global matrix environment
• A practical approach to preparing requests from leadership often at short notice
• Proven ability to deliver creative and flexible customer solutions.
• Ability to understand a customers business and the fundamentals of running a business
• Excellent time management, planning and organisation skills
