The Regulatory Affairs (RA) Specialist contributes to all regulatory functions for Moleac products such as obtaining marketing authorisations and product life-cycle management for the global market, and assigned projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Prepare and review registration/ variations dossiers for submission to regulatory authorities, ensuring scientific rigour, consistency and accuracy of product information, alongside good documentation practice.
– Coordinate with partners and regulatory consultants abroad to support overseas registration, in accordance to company strategy and timeline.
– Collaborate with stakeholders and contribute actively to all aspects of product life cycle management, ensuring compliance to applicable regulatory and quality requirements and continuity in commercialisation.
– Maintain and build on existing database of applicable health product regulations, standards, and guidance documents, interpreting emerging regulations and developments to assess impact on products.
– Review promotional material developed for commercial activities to ensure compliance to applicable regulatory guidelines.
– Participate in local and overseas regulatory inspections and internal audits when applicable.
– Develop and maintain effective relations with local authorities and industry associations Provide regulatory inputs and support to clinical trials and ethics committee submission.
– Assist in GDP and relevant quality assurance matters.

– Good understanding in GMP, GDP and relevant quality management systems desirable.

• Review salesperson transactions and commission inquiries, investigate flagged errors, and escalate to the IT Department for resolution.

3. Welfare & Incentive

• Respond to welfare and incentive-related inquiries.
• Resolves the issues in performance and welfare system.
• Oversee monthly adjustments for overriding, performance reconciliations, ensure proper tax declaration through the internal tax-income uploader system.
• Check the performance-related data to ensure such information is updated correctly.

Requirements

1. Degree in Business Management or its other equivalent.
2. Minimum five (5) years of working experience preferably in Business IT, Data Management & Analytics, Account management.
3. Strong in Communication skills and Problem-Solving Skills.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As part of the Regional Medical Affairs Team, the Regional Medical Affairs Manager will act as the regional therapeutic expert for our Consumer Health, Pain and CNS portfolios (subject to be updated as for business and medical needs). This role will also be responsible for clinical operations, real world evidence such as CRO management, clinical trial documents and clinical operation support to affiliates. In addition, this role will support on medical operation and compliance activities (RMA audits, digital initiatives, SOP knowledge).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Medical Affairs

• Provide medical and scientific support.
• Act as the regional therapeutic expert for assigned therapeutic areas. Provide Medical affairs support to local affiliates where there is no medical presence as required.
• Work in collaboration with the regional marketing teams and provide strategic medical input into core brand strategies and support medical marketing activities such as promotional material, product launches, omnichannel engagement, brand planning, etc.
• Perform medical assessment for the respective brands for business development opportunities as well as other assets as assigned
• The regional medical point of contact for the TAs for the regional and local medical and marketing teams for providing directions and support on medical action items, including but not limited to KOL engagements, insight seeking, advisory boards, Medical led meetings and initiatives, patient centricity, medical omnichannel communications, etc.
• Manage medical information inquiries for the assigned therapeutic area.
• Conduct regional scientific training on the disease and products.
• Lead life cycle management and data generation activities for the regional/corporate brands.
• Support the building of strong regional advocates and expert panels and speakers for the brands.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines and disseminate same to clinical project teams.
• Research and prepare training on therapeutic areas and indications of relevance and maintain an awareness of trends and changes of importance in the management of those indications.
• Initiates and maintains interactions with key opinion leaders and investigators in therapeutic areas of interest. Create and implement KOL mapping and engagement plan.
• Attend and act as an advisor to relevant clinical development projects or clinical meetings.
• Create or support the development of medical/scientific materials and slide decks as needed and ensure the content is reviewed and approved.
• Act as backup for pharmacovigilance case assessment as needed. Work together with the Pharmacovigilance team to perform adverse event causality assessment for local, regional and global products as well as partner products

Clinical Operations:

• Leads all stages of the clinical study development process including: feasibility assessments; protocol design; CRF design; ISF investigational site selection; generation of clinical study reports and the development of study-related documents, informed consent documents, study manuals and plans, trial master files (TMF), case report form design, etc. Identify data gaps and the need for phase 4 RWE studies for data generation.
• Provide clinical operation support to the local team as needed.
• Act as regional medical lead for CRO management, conduct due diligence for onboarding of the CRO and participate in CRO qualification and audit process.
• Work closely with CRO and keep track of project timeline, budget and milestones.
• Takes responsibility for and initiates the review of all clinical study documents and reports such as project management plans, data management plans, interim reports, etc.
• Work closely with the regional medical director/associate director to study objectives by working with team members to set project priorities and milestones and resolve project conflicts.
• Proactively identifies and resolves issues, and participates in process improvement initiatives as required.
• Reviews and approves invoices from study vendors, investigators, consultants, etc. and planning of the clinical study budgets.
• Oversee medical aspects of the risk management and risk mitigation strategies.
• Act as data manager to ensure the correctness of the clinical study data and verify the statistical analysis.
• Present clinical study data at regional and global conferences as a poster or oral presentation.
• Work with regional TA lead, regional marketing team, local medical team, and local marketing team on the dissemination of the clinical study data; participate/organize investigator meetings, steering committee meetings, and interdepartmental meetings.
• Ensures GCP, regulatory compliance, internal SOPs and working instructions are maintained throughout the clinical study lifecycle.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 5 years of medical affairs and clinical research/development experience within a pharmaceutical or Biotechnology Company.
• A certified Doctor (MBBS, MD) or a post-graduate scientific degree in medicine, biology, PhD, etc. will be an advantage.
• Solid understanding of medical affairs in the pharmaceutical industry with the ability to connect medical affairs and commercial priorities to work with cross-functional stakeholders as well as experience in people management and project-based activity and successful delivery of initiatives are required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good presentation skills.
• Travel to markets within APAC would be required.
• Strong Commercial awareness - Ability to work with regional and local commercial stakeholders.
• Unquestionable integrity and positive attitude.
• Great at building relationships, particularly with KOLs.
• Willing and capable of managing multiple projects, tight timelines and responsibilities.

Overview

The Project Manager, Regulatory Affairs, plays a pivotal role in driving APACMed's Regulatory Affairs (RA) agenda across the Asia-Pacific region. The position involves managing complex RA initiatives, fostering collaboration among stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact projects aligned with the association’s strategic goals. This role requires a proactive mindset, and the ability to navigate and influence policies that enhance patient access to innovative medical technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Committee Agenda and Leadership:

• Lead the development and execution of the RA Committee's agenda, ensuring alignment with APACMed’s broader strategic priorities.
• Spearhead workstreams and initiatives within the RA Committee’s purview, from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with senior members to define project objectives and craft actionable plans to deliver measurable outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, policymakers, healthcare providers, and industry leaders, to advance committee goals.
• Serve as a primary liaison between APACMed members and external partners to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Policy Advocacy and Regulatory Harmonization:

• Lead the drafting of position papers, advocacy materials, and white papers to address regulatory gaps and opportunities.
• Represent APACMed in regulatory discussions to advocate for harmonized, patient-focused regulatory practices across the region.

Project Management:

• Manage multiple RA initiatives simultaneously, ensuring that timelines and deliverables are met with precision.
• Oversee project budgets, milestones, and stakeholder expectations to drive successful outcomes.
• Provide operational support for key APACMed regulatory initiatives, including SaMD, e-labeling, and post-market surveillance.

Event Planning and Coordination:

• Organize and execute RA-focused workshops, roundtables, and forums, managing all aspects of event logistics, speaker engagement, and post-event documentation.
• Develop summary reports and insights from events to share with stakeholders and members.

Regulatory Intelligence and Analysis:

• Monitor and analyze regulatory developments across APAC markets, compiling insights to inform strategic priorities.
• Provide actionable recommendations to the RA Committee and APACMed leadership based on trends and emerging issues.

Qualifications and Skills

Educational Background:

Advanced degree in Biomedical Sciences, Medical Sciences, Regulatory Affairs, Public Health, Health Policy, or a related medical/scientific discipline.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in regulatory affairs, policy advocacy, healthcare strategy, or a related field, with a preference for regional roles in the MedTech or broader healthcare industry.
• Candidates with regulatory affairs experience or a background in medical sciences/consultancy are encouraged to apply.
• Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects and engaging with diverse stakeholder groups.

Skills and Competencies:

Overview:

The Scientific Affairs Officer is a key member of the Scientific Affairs team of ARKRAY Singapore. You will report to the Manager of Scientific Affairs in the Singapore office. This role focuses on communication of scientific knowledge on ARKRAY’s medical devices and services to our distributors and customers in selected markets of Asia Pacific. You will also work closely with our Sales team in supporting sales to prospective distributors and customers, as well as maintaining relationships with existing distributors and customers within Asia Pacific. In addition, the Scientific Affairs Officer will also provide support on regulatory affairs to our Sales team and distributors. This role will involve working with other Scientific Affairs Officers in other Southeast Asia markets, as well as the scientific team in ARKRAY Headquarters, Japan, to carry out a coordinated approach of enhancing the scientific knowledge of our distributors and customers.

• To provide timely and comprehensive support to our distributors and customers on application-related inquiries.
• To create high quality scientific marketing materials (e.g. newsletters) for our distributors and customers.

Under the direct supervision of the school psychologist, the student assistant will have to:
