JOB RESPONSBILITIES

• Responsible for complete documentation process from drafting, reviewing, and negotiating to execution & filing of the CDEA, ISDA/CSA, GMRA, GMSLA, MSFTA’s suite of documentation and Master Confirmation Agreements for all Equity Derivative products and related ancillary documents; and related regulatory initial margin documents
• Review of legal opinions on netting and collateral enforceability including liaising with external counsel
• Development and execution of negotiation strategies, outside of a playbook, to balance client and GS needs

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or JD with a minimum of three years of experience in Legal/Trading Documentation role (including within a Credit, Risk or Treasury function) or attorney/paralegal experience within a law firm
• Knowledge of various legal entities including funds, insurance companies and pensions
• Proven excellent organizational and prioritisation skills and attention to detail, especially under pressure
• Proven ability to negotiate and review detailed legal documents with an eye for detail and accuracy, particularly around documentation terms

Roles and Responsibilities

Members of an executive board may have varying roles and responsibilities depending on the organizations they serve and any committees they join, such as the executive committee or audit committee. However, most corporate board members are responsible for these essential roles within their organizations.

1. Fiduciary Duty

Members of a corporate board of directors have a fiduciary duty to their organizations, meaning they must act in the company’s best interests. This involves ensuring the company’s financial health through monitoring of its financial performance and making decisions that maximize shareholder value.

As part of their duty of care, board members must avoid conflicts of interest and disclose any potential conflicts to the board. They must also exercise due diligence in their decision-making.

2. Strategic Oversight

Board members are responsible for strategic oversight of the organization they serve. As part of these duties, they must evaluate and approve various strategies, including mergers and acquisitions and capital expenditures.

Strategic oversight isn’t just about endorsing plans. Board members must also actively engage with, question, and refine business strategies to ensure they’re robust, adaptable, and aligned with the company’s overarching goals.

3. Risk Management

Board members must assess and mitigate any risks to the company. This includes financial, operational, legal, and reputational risks.

As every business faces risks, board members are responsible for setting an acceptable level of threat to the company. Balancing the company’s appetite for risk with safeguarding shareholder interests becomes paramount. This involves engaging in thorough risk assessments, collaborating with management to develop risk mitigation strategies, and establishing robust internal controls to minimize exposure.

4. CEO Oversight

The chief executive officer is often responsible for making key decisions across the company. In order to ensure appropriate checks and balances remain in place, the board oversees the CEO. That may include selecting the person who fills that role and evaluating their performance over time.

5. Compliance and Ethics

As part of their responsibilities, board members must ensure the company adheres to all applicable laws and regulations. In addition, the board may lay out specific ethical responsibilities and requirements that the company must adhere to. Ethical requirements can help protect the company’s reputation, while creating a higher level of social responsibility.

Evaluates project information, confers and corresponds with client representatives in coordination with the

Project Manager/Principal to determine project parameters and requirements.

Develops design concepts for project(s).

- Leads design development of client’s interior program through development of photographic image studies.

- Develops interior design to meet the client’s programmatic requirements and assure technical suitability.

- Develops conceptual ideas graphically.

- Leads design charettes.

Participates directly in each project from programming through project completion.

Leads presentation and design drawings.

Be the creative head.

- Develops block plans and bubble diagrams.

- Leads and reviews design details.

- Corrects / revises drawings with minimal supervision.

Coordinates with design team to ensure integration of design and interior design elements.

- Provides guidance to other members of the design team to ensure that design documents are in appropriate formats.

- Participates in all charettes.

- Monitors and sometimes coordinates the design work of consultants.

Is responsible for quality control for the interior design function, including:

- Accuracy of each segment of work as it is completed.

- Conformance to company design standards.

Project Management

- Establishes program with Project Manager/Principal.

- Responsible for all projects within the team.

- Participates in determining the skills required of other team members for the project and the selection of those team members.

- Prepares progress reports. Alerts Project Manager to any changes in scope, lack of information or decisions from client.

Oversees interior design aspects of construction:

- Assists with construction oversight for general conformance with the interior design concept.

- Responds to construction questions as they relate to interior design issues.

Directs / supervises the gathering of the technical specifications for various interior design elements (FF&E).

- Selects and directs materials for project.

Confers and corresponds with client representatives, to determine project parameters / requirements; participates in design presentations.

Directs construction of finish boards.

Participates in the development of “in-house” design standards; assures that design policies, procedures, standards and philosophies are adhered to.

Responsible for personal and staff development

- Performs senior staff development duties such as mentoring, training, supervising and directing junior staff.

- Participates in management and leadership groups.

• Oversees day-to-day corporate operations and guides implementation of business strategy.
• Ensure employees move in the same strategic direction to achieve its mission.
• Create and report on business plans, as well as monitoring its progresses.
• Lead and implement new initiatives to drive revenue, and lower operating costs, while maintaining quality services to customers.
• Continuous monitoring of the annual budget to ensure that revenue targets are met.
• Understanding the intricacies of financial management and management.
• Provide strategic advice and report results to Japan-HQ.
• Fluent Japanese language is a MUST ‘cos need do direct reporting to Japan-HQ.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Creative Director to drive design excellence across the company's digital platforms and marketing initiatives. This leadership role combines oversight of the UI/UX design team responsible for web and mobile app design, with the management of the graphic design team responsible for a wide range of visual assets, including event key visuals, logos, banners, posters, and more. Additionally, the role involves planning and executing exclusive client events aimed at high-net-worth individuals, as well as overseeing both internal and external company activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. UI/UX Design Leadership:

• Lead and manage the UI design team, overseeing the design of web and mobile applications, ensuring that the company’s digital experiences are both user-friendly and aesthetically engaging.
• Contribute directly to product design by creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that reflect the needs of users and align with business goals.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to continuously refine and optimize user interfaces.

2. Graphic Design Leadership:

• Lead the graphic design team, taking full responsibility for the company’s visual design initiatives, including but not limited to event key visuals (KVs), logos, banners, posters, brochures, and promotional materials.
• Ensure all graphic design work aligns with the company’s branding and overall creative direction.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop compelling visuals for online and offline campaigns, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.
• Create and manage the company’s graphic design assets library, ensuring that all materials are easily accessible and up-to-date.

3. Event Planning & Execution (High-Net-Worth Client Activities):

• Lead the planning, design, an exclusive series of activities and events targeted at high-net-worth clients, designed to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal and external events, ensuring that they are designed and executed flawlessly in line with the company’s objectives.
• Collaborate with the marketing and PR teams to ensure all events have strong visual elements, including event branding, invitations, and promotional materials.
• Manage logistics and oversee creative processes for all event materials, from digital invitations to venue design and event collateral.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership:

• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to both the UI/UX and graphic design teams, fostering a collaborative, creative, and results-driven environment.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, sales, etc.) to ensure design solutions meet business objectives and contribute to company success.
• Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and design workflows, ensuring that deadlines and objectives are met efficiently.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, ensuring the team maintains a cutting-edge design approach.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication Design, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in both UI/UX and graphic design, with at least 4 years in a leadership or team management role.
• Proven experience in designing for web and mobile applications, with a portfolio showcasing high-quality UI/UX and graphic design work.
• Expertise in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, XD), Sketch, Figma, and other industry-standard design tools.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
• Experience in leading and mentoring design teams, with the ability to foster creativity and achieve business objectives.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to balance creativity with practicality.

Purpose of Job

This position is responsible to ensure financial standards compliance for all infrastructure-related investment and operating spend.
