Maltem Singapore is currently seeking a SAP Business Analyst (Product Manager) for our Wealth Management Client.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and support middle-to-back office capabilities for private/public market processes, including transaction booking and valuations.
• Develop, implement, and manage Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the product team to ensure alignment with company goals, drive focus, and measure progress. Regularly review and adjust OKRs to reflect changing priorities and ensure successful achievement of key product milestones.
• Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, and opportunities. Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to gather detailed requirements and insights. Translate findings into actionable user stories.
• Lead discussions, analyze and conceptualize IT solutions that meet business needs. Validate solutions with engineering and architecture teams.
• Conduct data analysis to identify patterns and develop models to support business processes.
• Present IT solutions to business and IT stakeholders, explaining how they address business needs, challenges and opportunities.
• Prioritize features based on business goals and technical feasibility.
• Support the project team during execution. Re-engage business SMEs to revise requirements or accept alternative solutions as needed.
• Define test strategy, execute test cases, and provide clarifications during testing phases.
• Prepare training plans and user manuals, conduct user training, and support system adoption.
• Collaborate across Front, Middle, and Back Office, the extended Technology team, and industry partners.
• Lead Agile practices and coordinate scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure project delivery remains on track, and take corrective actions to address any deviations.

Mandatory Requirements:

• CAT-1 eligible candidate is essential.
• Possess a degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in technology business analysis or software development, with a focus on accounting applications.
• Experience overseeing complex IT projects, including System Integrations and Data Migrations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong ability to manage teams and senior business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with a growth mindset and the ability to work independently.
• Proven excellence in documenting BRD, FSD, user stories, visual modeling, and business processes.
• High expertise in:
• Java
• Oracle SQL
• APIs
• or alternatively with expertise in out-of-the-box accounting products, e.g. SAP.
• Experience in Data Analysis, Pattern Recognition, and Model Development.
• Experience in Product Management and Agile Methodology, with a strong delivery focus.
• Good understanding of the Accounting Business domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement algorithms to process and analyze large-scale datasets.
• Build, fine-tune, and optimize large-scale models using frameworks such as LoRA (Low-Rank Adaptation) and DeepSpeed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI workflows using AIFlow.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines and workflows using Apache Spark.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries to analyze structured and unstructured data.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and create insightful visualizations.
• Develop and maintain Python-based scripts and applications for data processing and automation.
• Work with large-scale datasets to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Document processes and findings to support informed decision-making.

Requirements :

• Knowledge or academic experience with algorithms and their implementation.
• Hands-on experience with frameworks such as LoRA, DeepSpeed, or similar AI tools (academic or project-based experience is acceptable).
• Familiarity with Spark and distributed data processing techniques.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and querying.
• Programming skills in Python, with a focus on data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• Understanding of handling large data volumes and related optimization techniques.
• Exposure to data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
• Basic knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with data versioning tools and workflow orchestration frameworks.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
