BAND 1 JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description

• The Band 1 – Desktop Technician will provide day to day local\remote desktop support, receive inbound calls, answer questions, troubleshoot and document steps performed to resolve challenges with hardware, software and application issues in a ticketing system. The candidate will also need to facilitate customer resolution for calls and engage their supervisors and managers to ensure operational consistency across all shifts within the IT Support Center. • Proficiency in troubleshooting various technologies, network, and system issues including routing, NAT, VLAN, Multicast, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, AD, LDAP, RADIUS, SNMP, Syslog, SMTP, TLS, SSH.
• Demonstrate a strong interest in staying updated on cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
• Preference will be given to candidates with certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Check Point CCSE/CCSM, Thales, CyberArk CDE, Trellix, ArcSight ESM/Logger, ITOM, SailPoint, CISSP, CREST, OSCP.
• Proficiency in programming language like Python, C++, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Bash scripting, and Power Shell is advantageous.

• Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experiences
