Responsibilities

• Install new products, and test them to ensure they are working correctly
• Educating the client on how to use and maintain their device
• Perform maintenance and provide customer support
• Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them
• Order parts needed for repairs if needed
• Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performed
• Explain issues with equipment and repairs to customers
• Build and maintain relationships with customers

Requirements

• Min. Higher Nitec in engineering in any field, with or without work experience all welcome to apply
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills
• Working knowledge of the equipment needed for the job
• Ability to work independently without much supervision
• Posse valid Class 3 driving licence is a MUST

Provide operation and administration support on system infrastructure according to the agreed service levels.
• System administration;
• Backup and recovery administration;
• Server security administration;
• Performance and fault management;
• Report requirements; and
• Server management support.

Type of system infrastructure includes:
• Physical Servers;
• Virtual Machines (VMware, Hyper-V);
• Windows Active Directory (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy) <- This is a must.
• Storage (SAN);
• Backup (Veritas, Backup-exec, backup appliance).

Type of Operating System includes:
• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
• Experience with RedHat Linux is a bonus

Requirements
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Microsoft Server administration
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)

About the Team

The mission of our AML team is to push next-generation machine learning algorithms and platform for the recommendation system, ads ranking and search ranking in our company. We also drive substantial impact for core businesses of the company.

- Build an effective toolchain to improve development performance;

- Introduce new AI technologies to our online system, support billions of users all over the world;

- Improve the reliability of the system, manage the challenges of scale and complexity;

- Squeeze extreme performance from hardware and handle huge amount of requests;

- Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialised utility programs;

- Analyse user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis;

- Update software, enhances existing software capabilities, and develops and direct software testing and validation procedures;

- Work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements;

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields.

- Strong programming and coding experience with at least one modern language such as C/C++, Golang, Python

- Experience contributing to the large scale distributed systems, multi-tenant systems (architecture, reliability and scaling)

- Strong analytical abilities and problem solving

- Good communication, self-motivation, engineering practice, documentation, etc.

- At least 3 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiar with large-scale distributed systems like Spark and Elasticsearch;

- Familiar with the web technologies, such as Django / Flask / React.JS etc.
