JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DESCRIPTION

• Lead, manage and motivate with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are aligned to project requirements/scopes, schedules and costs

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supply chain manager (SCM) reports to the country director, Singapore Country Director(CD).

KEY FUNCTIONS & TASKS

The successful candidate will be a Senior Technical Lead within the TISC (Technical, Innovation & Supply Chain) architecture team supporting the CPS (Commercial Product Supply) and NAOU (North America Operating Unit) organizations through ensuring all technology delivered meets standards to drive supply chain transformation initiatives. • Responsible for the functional tests and analyse the failures related to mechanical systems and components and recommends corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence. Troubleshooting of faults/defects issues & carry out failure analysis.
• Study, evaluate and implement plant improvement projects to enhance overall plant reliability, availability and performance
• Execute approved plant improvement works
• Supervision of maintenance contract works and prepare work procedures for all maintenance activities
• Prepare technical specifications for equipment parts and work services. Manage the procurement of parts and services to meet the maintenance needs
• Track the year to date expenditure against the approved department budget
• Manage a team effectively through day-to-day activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent recognized by the Professional Engineers Board.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in plant maintenance from the Power or Oil and Gas industries.
• Sound Mechanical engineering maintenance knowledge. Good knowledge of safety and statutory requirement will be an advantage.
• Self-motivated team player with analytical mind, strong planning and problem solving skills.
• Have a safety mindset and display good workplace safety behavior.

4. Accountable for accuracy and updating amendments to precast shop drawings.
5. Attend meetings with consultants and main-contractor as well as site meetings.
6. Manage drafting staff and check drawings to ensure compliance with design concept.
7. Manage, plan and schedule projects, shop drawings for submission and production.
8. To liaise internally with coordinator and production on submission/issuance of shop drawings any technical issue and keep them updated of any revision.
9. Conduct review on details of design to ensure the accuracy of shop drawings produced.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from recognised University.
2. 3 years working experience in construction design.
