Overall Job Purpose

Responsible for configuring, implementing, and maintaining Project AVEVA Net/AIM and ISM instances. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in Project data capture, verification, and handover.

Core Responsibilities

• Be the Single Point of Contact for all matters related to setting up, maintaining, administering, upgrading, and troubleshooting the AVEVA NET system deployed on all MODEC

• Coordinate with the engineering disciplines assigned to the project and work closely with project management, procurement, HSE, QA/QC, operations, and the construction team. Meet or, where possible, exceed on-time deliverables while maintaining quality and safety in each activity.

• Establish and maintain the creation of a Class Library and define its structure and mapping techniques in ISM.

• Develop efficient data capture, validation, loading and handover work processes to meet Client/Project schedule requirements.

• Establish new project portals that effectively reflect client/project class libraries, data structure, and handover requirements.

• Ongoing Gateway configuration, maintenance, and development of AVEVA NET portals.

• Generation of Query Forms, SSRS and BI reports communicating data discrepancies, omissions, completion trending and status

• Raise the profile of information management and create a data-centric culture via effective portal development and deployment.

• Shall be capable of developing work instructions for users of AVEVA NET.

• Must understand company goals and implement management directives and policies.

• Anticipate potential problems and take preventive actions.

• Support the Product Manager in planning and delivering AVEVA NET solutions on projects.

Educational Qualification:

Certification(s):

• Training in AVEVA NET administration

Relevant Experience:

a) 5-10 years’ experience applying AVEVA NET in onshore/offshore Oil & Gas areas or FPSO line(s).

b) AVEVA NET/AIM and AVEVA ISM administration and implementation.

c) Be fully proficient in exception handling between the AVEVA system with associated Gateways and the Client system

d) Have extensive knowledge of AVEVA registers gateway interface with Client system

e) Experience in mapping Company data and document structures to Client structures. Have an in-depth understanding of FEED & Detailed Design deliverables, their execution methodology and their interdependencies with one another.

f) Have previous experience in engineering information management.

g) Possess previous experience with AVEVA Net Portal and ISM development and administration skills on Oil & Gas Projects, specifically for Major Capital Projects.

h) Knowledge of Engineering Design software like AVEVA E3D and AVEVA Engineering is a plus.

i) Possesses good working knowledge of the Oil & Gas Industry, including EPCs and owner-operators (preferred but not mandatory).

Job Description

• Develop and create 2D and 3D piping layouts, plans, isometrics, ensure that piping designs are optimized for efficiency, ease of maintenance, and compliance with project and industry standards
• Create detailed piping layouts and general arrangements for the plant, ensuring that pipe routing minimizes interference with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical) and optimizes space utilization
• Collaborate with stress engineers to ensure pipe routing and support arrangements can handle thermal expansion, seismic loads, and pressure differential
• Prepare detailed piping design deliverables, including pipe routing layouts, support details, isometric drawings, and bill of materials (BOM). Ensure designs comply with all relevant standards
• Collaborate with process, mechanical, civil, and electrical teams to ensure seamless integration of piping designs with other plant systems
• Work closely with the procurement team to prepare piping material specifications, liaise with suppliers for quotation and support vendor evaluations for piping components (valves, flanges, supports, etc.)
• Review piping installation drawings and provide feedback for improvement to ensure constructability
• Conduct site visits as needed to verify piping installations are in accordance with the approved designs

Requirements

• For Degree holder, minimum 5 years of experience in piping design. For Diploma holder, minimum 8 years of experience is required. For senior position, candidate must have at least 10 years of experience

• Possess strong inter-personal and communication skills and be able to work well with people at all levels in the organization
• In-depth knowledge of piping design codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, PUB regulations)
• Must have advanced computer literacy in commonly usedsoftware applications such as Navisworks, Bentley View, AutoCAD, piping design & drafting tools and MS Office
• Experience in process plant (such as wastewater treatment plant, sludge incineration plant, etc.) is preferred

Job Description

• Oversee process design for process plant (Wastewater Treatment Plant, Water Treatment Plant, etc) including process simulation, mass balance, process flow diagram (PFD), P&ID, equipment layout, sizing calculation, control philosophy, process input for instrument/valve list, etc
• Provide process input and coordinate with other disciplines (including the BIM modelling team) for the design, installation and T&C work
• Oversee technical review of process equipment/system vendors’ proposal and submission during procurement, detailed design and installation stages, support the procurement and tender work
• Prepare the process submissions and resubmissions to project consultants and client according to project schedule and clear the submittal comments
• Manage the process equipment suppliers to meet the project schedule and quality requirements for design, installation and testing & commissioning
• Support on the testing and commissioning work

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in chemical/environmental/mechanical engineering
• Minimum 4 Years’ experience in process design and engineering work, ideally in water/wastewater treatment projects (Including sludge treatment); For senior position, candidate must have at least 8 years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with local environmental regulations (e.g., PUB standards) and international design codes
• Strong understanding of biological, chemical, and physical treatment processes
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision, make sound decisions, take independent action, and provide focused solutions to assigned projects
• Possess strong inter-personal and communication skills and be able to work well with people at all levels in the organization
• Must have advanced computer literacy in commonly usedsoftware applications such as MS Office
• Knowledge in Naviswork and Bentley View Software will be an added advantage

Responsibilities:

• Attends and records the daily quality assurance related inspections for mechanical and HVAC installations
• Coordinates with other production departments, clients, and surveyors for Inspection & testing requirements
• Assigns the systems to be tested to the various supervisors and technicians involved in the operation
• Ensures that the Quality work processes to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Reports on non-conformance and issue Improvement notes, where necessary
• Ensures timely completion of project
• Ensures that all standard operating procedures comply with specifications, quality standards, statutory and regulatory requirements

Requirements:
