Job Scope:
Demand & Supply Planner:
- Work with internal teams and suppliers to develop and implement supply plans using planning tools.
- Create tools to forecast demand and recommend stocking policies to meet inventory targets.
- Keep supplier data, such as prices, lead times, and order quantities, up-to-date in the ERP system.
- Update purchase orders with the latest delivery estimates.
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and service teams to ensure the right stock is available in the right locations.
- Provide updates to sales and operations teams and communicate with suppliers to improve performance.
- Analyze trends and give recommendations to improve stock availability.
- Identify and manage risks in demand and supply planning.
- Review and improve processes to drive efficiency and innovation.
- Handle queries from stakeholders and escalate complex issues when needed.
- Process customer orders and support the supply chain team in improving business knowledge and processes.
- Train colleagues on planning methods and improve your skills through training and coaching.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the line manager.
Demand & Supply Lead:
- Manage supply and demand planning for SEA to ensure optimal stock levels and meet customer needs.
- Develop and oversee demand planning processes like forecasting and trend analysis.
- Train colleagues on demand planning tools and methods for consistent practices.
- Share demand forecasts and insights with internal teams and suppliers.
- Plan and implement supply strategies for internal and third-party suppliers.
- Identify and mitigate risks in demand and supply planning.
- Lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure smooth material supply and production.
- Monitor supplier performance, suggest improvements, and support contract negotiations.
- Analyze costs, market trends, and supplier options to improve efficiency.
- Review and improve operations regularly to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Handle stakeholder queries about supply chain processes.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships by addressing needs and sharing updates.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related qualification.
- At least 3 years of related working experience.
- Sense of urgency, able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Initiative and curiosity, willing to grow and be challenged in a very exciting and fast environment.
