KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supply Chain

• Partner with business to update forecast based on business plans, identify material adjustments and communicate changes during internal consensus meetings and with local suppliers

Main Responsibilities / Critical tasks

• Responsible to assist in the design of controls system and programming coding to meet the budget and time expectations as defined by Project Manager
• Able to Modify controls design and other documents according to the Mikron Processes & Standards and compliance to industry standards as according to customer URS.
• Develop specific program per customer and project requirements based on Mikron Coding Standard.
• Participate in controls and validation activities, conduct test and debug, internal buy-off, FAT and SAT.
• Work together with the Customer, Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Process Manager, Design Engineers and other project team members as required.
• Communication with Customer as per project requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers as needed.
• Update PCT and task completion accordingly

Skills and knowledge requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree/diploma in engineering or equivalent; or at least 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
• Must be able to travel as requested
• Ability to make sound decisions, work independently and within a team structure
• Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment
• Well organized and respectful of project deadlines
• Ability to communicate in an open, clear, precise and effective manner with customers, peers and all levels of management
• Knowledge in Allen Bradley and Siemens-S7 programming.
• Computer skills including intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and Excel spreadsheet experience; Microsoft Project; Design software; Internet software; Manufacturing software and SQL/Dbase Database software.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Integrate and commission a variety of instrumentation and control systems for commercial projects.
• Program and integrate control systems, design control panels and subpanels, and generate I/O lists.
• Perform engineering tasks, including PLC and SCADA software interface programming.
• Develop process functional designs, including control write-ups and control schematics.
• Create hardware and software design specifications, as well as other software/test documentation.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Manage multiple tasks effectively, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines to ensure timely completion of commissioning activities.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in PLC control program design and implementation within industrial or marine automation, or process automation settings.
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on programming skills with various PLC brands.
• Proficient in technical knowledge and programming of SCADA software.
• Resourceful and highly organized, with excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
• A collaborative team player who can also work independently in a fast-paced environment.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER IN MARINE & OFFSHORE

Job Description:

- Manage and monitor bid quotations submission is timely. Preparation of Commercial & Technical proposals, tenders, and quotation administration to customers professionally.

- Engaged in Design layout using AUTOCAD.

- Prepare drawings and other technical submittals. Ensure to provide timely technical support and response during the bidding process.

- Ensure project completion within time and according to the project plan.

- Provide project technical supervision, quality assurance, material selection, approval procurement and project close out documentation.

- Prepare schedules, daily reports, accomplishment reports and other documents required by project management/client/owners.

Requirement:

- At least Minimum 4 years of working experience in Mechanical Engineering is required for this position.

(Preferably in Marine & Offshore Industry, but other Industry are welcome.)

- Well-versed in AUTOCAD drawing is a must.

Supervision of works at site in accordance with the design

• Preparation and maintenance of daily report / record

• Check and conduct inspections on works performed by subcontractors / gangs

• Check all construction drawings / sketches received on site and to report any discrepancy to the Project Manager

• Handle all problems arising from the project

• Preparation of progress report for the Client / Consultants

• Work in conjunction with the Project Manager and Safety Supervisor to keep the site safe and tidy

• Co-ordinate the handing over of completed works to the Client / Consultants and completion of the necessary rectification works

• Submission of as-built drawings at the end of the project

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for all on-site technical and engineering matters.
• Ensure works carried out meet company’s quality standards & contractual requirements.
• Involved in project planning, monitoring project progress and schedule.
• Including prepare work plan, schedule, preparation all the related work procedure/method statement, job safety analysis, technical clarification.
• To co-ordinate with the client, consultant, sub-contractors on all project aspects and need be, to provide all technical and non-technical resolutions followed by documentation.
• Include attending all progress meeting.
• Assisting Project Manager in monthly progress claims and monthly progress reports.
• Ensuring supervisors, foremen, workers and sub-con meets client & regulatory work requirements.
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time
• Ensuring Environmental, Safety and Health practices are carried out at all times.
