Job Description:

• Measure the quality performances of the organization, ie. Customers’ complaints, Returned materials Authorization (RMA), etc. Against set targets.
• Interface with customers on products’ quality requirements and ensure that quality requirements are followed to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support qualification of new suppliers and maintain the performance of existing suppliers.
• Establish inspection criteria and set quality standards for both raw materials and finished goods and follow thorough to disposition.
• Ensure timely response in 8D/CAR to customers’ complaints, work with cross-functional groups to close 8D/CAR with effective corrective/preventive actions.
• Collect and analyze quality data using statistical control tools.
• Work closely with Production and other supporting departments to ensure the production of quality products.
• Perform any other duties assigned by superior.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in any Engineering discipline (Preferable in Quality Engineering).
• At least 2-3 years experience in similar capacity.
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications.
• Knowledge in SPC, GR&R, FMEA, RCA.
• Good communication, report writing and presentation skills.
• Good analytical skill with ability to work effectively.
• Certified internal/lead auditor in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & TS 16949.

Responsibilities:

This role accountable for effective support on IT related activities below:

• Collaborate with local HR and headquarter HRIS team to update and maintain accurate data within Advantech HCM databases.
• In charge of MIS to support all office equipment setup and maintenance, including security patch updates
• Liaise with HQ IT teams for support on new headcount on board request which include application for new email address, grouping, phone extension.
• Maintenance and troubleshoot for iCTOS system and reports
• Maintenance on Power BI existing dashboard which include importing of data and managing user access

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.

• Experience developing ASP.NET MVC applications with C# and Javascript.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the systems engineer will provide engineering design, technical configuration, drawing of various telecommunication systems.

He/ She will possess extensive knowledge and experience in Engineering design of telecommunication, safety & security and marine navigation systems covering technologies such as IP Infrastructure, WIFI WLAN, Firewall security, IP-PABX, PAGA, CCTV, VCS, TETRA/DMR UHF/VHF Radio, GMDSS Radio, GEO/MEO/LEO VSAT, IPTV, Radar, Gyrocompass and etc and provide engineering design, technical configuration, proof of concept as well as drawing instruction of various telecom systems.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of engineering design and make a truly access and understanding of client requirement and propose the right solution to fit the specs.
• Produce engineering document (VDRL) and close the client comments in a timely, high quality and accurate manner.
• Produce scratch drawing and guide the AUTOCAD drafter to come out the engineering drawing deliverables.
• Adapt the industrial standard and best practice into the engineering drawing preparation, design, review, and submission.
• Guide the in-house technician for equipment assembly and cabinet integration; implement the system configuration, simulation, testing and verification.
• Conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT) to client and provide in-house training to client as well as commissioning engineer.
• Any other ad hoc tasks required for business needs.

Job Description

• Perform process design for chemical plants, storage terminals, industrial waste facilities in basic design, FEED and detailed engineering stage.
• Responsible for developing process engineering deliverables including PFD, P&ID, calculation reports, heat and mass balance, system descriptions, line list, simulation model, utility consumption list, process control philosophy, etc in accordance with project requirement and applicable codes/standard.
• To carry out process calculations such as hydraulic calculation, surge analysis, heat transfer calculation, pressure relief and blowdown analysis, utility consumption calculation, equipment sizing, etc.
• Develop firefighting design philosophy, fire water/foam demand calculation and fire water/foam network hydraulic simulation as per local regulation and international code/standard.
• Develop design basis and UFD for utility supply system and wastewater handling system.
• To participate in design review, Process Hazard Analysis, SIL Studies, 3D Modeling review and prepare close-out reports when required.
• Work closely and co-ordinate with other engineering disciplines for preparation of process deliverables and provide process parameter input as required.
• Provide regular update to Lead Process Engineer, Process Manager and Engineering manager on process related technical and engineering issues.
