Working with a back-office development team, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of the software solution for a high volume and performance intensive back office of an Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system.

The activities required to be performed shall include the following:

· Requirements gathering;

· Design, development, and maintenance of the software;

· Preparation and submission of deliverables throughout the software development lifecycles such as Business Rules, Software Requirement Specifications, Software Architecture Document, Design Specification, Interface Specifications, Source Codes, Testing Specification, Operation and Maintenance Manual, Training Manual and others documents as required in the standard adopted by the Authority;

· Assist the Authority with day-to-day application support issues; and

· Liaise with users on the requirement, design and testing issues.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Recognised degree in Computer Science, IT or engineering with at least 5 years’ relevant experience in software development;

· Gone through at least one full software development lifecycle (SDLC) with experience in producing SDLC documentations;

· Extensive experience in analysing requirements, designing, development and delivering complex enterprise applications in Java/JEE, web programming on UNIX / LINUX and Windows environment;

· Extensive experience in web-based applications development and database application interfacing (JDBC, SQL);

· Experience in Agile development methodology and continuous integration;

· Experience in Spring Framework and Spring Boot;

· Experience in database design, development and performance tuning;

· Strong understanding of access control principles and best practices, as well as experience implementing access control mechanisms in software applications with IBM Tivoli or Microsoft Active Directory (Preferred);

· Strong understanding of Graphical User Interface (GUI) design principles and best practices, as well as experience implementing user friendly and intuitive GUIs that are optimized for managing large amounts of data;

Job Description

• Prepare and review Instrumentation, Control and Automation (ICA) Works specifications.
• Assist the ICA Lead and manage the engineering design works for the Control System Architecture, Data Communication Networks, Functional Design Specification (FDS), Process Control Narrative (PCN) and Process Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Programmable Logic Controller / Distributed Control System (PLC/DCS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and any other ICA Works as required.
• Handle equipment package and procurement including technical specifications preparation, technical clarification, technical bid analysis, etc.
• Collaboration with multiple stakeholders including internal teams of different trades, clients, consultants, other packages contractors, sub-contractors and vendors to ensure success of the project.
• Prepare, review and liaison with subcontractor(s) in the design and submission, ensuring all project specifications and design standards are met.
• Work with cross function project team to support project activities, i.e. schedule, process, progress claims, work progress, etc.
• Manage and supervise the project execution, site installation, inspection, testing and commissioning, plant proving related to Instrumentation, Control and automation system and interface works with other disciplines and all stakeholders.
• Attend to clients’ comments and ensure clients’ approval & acceptance to all ICA related design, installation and Testing & Commissioning Works.
• Resolve the site technical related matters.

Requirements

• Experience in ICA engineering Works, preferably in water/wastewater projects will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Programming of PLC/DCS and SCADA.
