POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for developing and implementing tax strategies to ensure compliance with international and local tax regulations while optimizing the organization’s tax efficiency. Key areas of focus include transfer pricing, where the incumbent will design policies, conduct analyses, prepare documentation, and ensure adherence to evolving regulations, and tax planning, where they will identify opportunities to minimize liabilities, advise on tax implications of corporate strategies, and support business initiatives. The role also involves managing tax audits, resolving disputes, liaising with tax advisors and authorities, and staying updated on legislative changes to address tax risks and opportunities proactively.

The incumbent will undertake any or all of the following and has authority for:

Transfer Pricing

• Develop and implement robust transfer pricing policies and strategies
• Conduct thorough transfer pricing analyses/study to support intercompany transactions
• Prepare transfer pricing documentation and reports
• Monitor legislative changes in transfer pricing, BEPS and recommending/implementing strategies to ensure continuous compliance
• Advise on transfer pricing adjustments to optimize tax efficiencies of the Group
• Review and analyze transfer pricing agreements and contracts for compliance and effectiveness
• Address and resolve any transfer pricing disputes and develop effective negotiation strategies
• Perform risk assessments related to transfer pricing and propose mitigation strategies

• Keep abreast of international transfer pricing trends and best practices to enhance company policies

Tax Planning

• Advise on tax strategy/opportunities/savings for the Group and provide recommendations/guidance on ways to reduce tax liabilities/exposure
• Advise the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies arising from new tax laws
• Support strategic tax planning for new business initiatives
• Work closely with tax professionals, if any, on tax planning strategies

Other Duties

• Supervise and oversee matters relating to any tax related audit & tax litigation, if any

Overall Purpose of Job:

• Managing and preparation of cost estimation and commercial proposal including contractual obligation require by tender process

4. Proficient in Microsoft Office skills including being familiar with multiple Excel formulas, designing a set of useful Excel macros that helps automation of manual processes, using Word documents to merge HR policy/Handbook/company rules.

Job Responsibilities

Primary tasks

· Take on all aspects of hands-on HR duties, including employee recruitment, work pass application, payroll, compensation, employee benefits, etc.

· Review and propose improvement to the workflow and procedures. Propose, implement/improve, and maintain HR system data integrity.

· Main contact person of specific HR duties both externally and internally., including Japanese-speaking counterparts such as multiple departments (HR, Finance, IR, Sales, Internal Audit) of headquarter in Tokyo, JCCI, JETRO, recruitment agencies.

· Support Directors to establish and upgrade HR system and policies and propose improvements thereof.

· Perform daily HR duties to cover the absence of other HR staff or subordinates.

Other Tasks

· Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements.

· Manage and allocate employee schedules for qualification renewal, training, health checkups, etc.

· Attend physical/on-line seminars to learn and collect up-to-date HR information and apply to MPCS HR system, as necessary.

· Undertake other duties assigned by supervisors.

Principal Responsibilities

- Develop strategies adapted to changing market conditions to grow the Electronic Specialty Gas (ESG) revenue and profit for country.

- Grow the revenue with existing customers with new products and services leveraging on relationships with existing customers. Identify potential customers in the electronics segment and complete research on their production process and application needs and position Linde’s offerings.

- Having in-depth knowledge of products value proposition. Becomes a subject expert in our products, internal processes and operations, liaise with internal stakeholders efficiently and remain up to date in industry news.

- Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.

- Prepare business proposals and negotiate with key stakeholders for new products.

- Identify and connect with key decision makers (initiator, influencer, decider, user) within a customer organization from commercial and technical perspective.

- Monitor competitor - understand local & regional competitor strengths and weaknesses (market share, cost positions, etc.), and expected/typical behavior.

- Manage ESG products responsibility to ensure all local, state and national regulations are complied with.

- Assist in coordinating product, process or engineering changes, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material flow.

Requirements

- Good ESG product knowledge on hazard classifications, chemical properties and compatibilities.

- Business or Technical degree/training preferred with minimum 3 years experience in electronic gases. Experience in equipment business (for wafer fab manufacturing, gas related) will be an added advantage.

- Financial skills with strong analytical approach.

- Language Skills – Fluent in both written and spoken English, so as to be able to communicate with customers

Role Description:

Project Management

• Project team management: leading project teams, organize meeting and follow up action items.
• Develop budget, time and resource plans based on technical requirement, battery energy storage project scope and potential interdependencies.
• Prepare project documents Project Plans, Installation Method Statements, Schedule, and proposals.
• Develop project-specific risk management plans, lead stakeholder engagement strategies and secure the commitment of critical stakeholders to projects.
• Conducting project reviews and clarification meetings and managing relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Take ownership of development process.
• Weekly report to management to review the progress and performance of projects and recommend actions for improvement.

Project(s)

• Identify and develop renewable energy microgrid regionally.
• Develop a detailed project plan, and work breakdown structure to monitor and track progress and identify critical project milestones and path activities.
• Lead Microgrid/Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project execution & operations.
• Work with backend Microgrid design & engineering team from design to deployment projects.
• Coordinate and engage internal resources and local construction, installation & commissioning vendors to adopt new and reliable project execution methodologies to ensure project risk mitigation and within resource project execution. Familiarity with construction management, civil engineering (e.g. foundation and anchorage requirement), deployment GA based on site requirement/condition for energy storage systems.
• Ensure BESS design and deployment compliance standards are met.
• Work with local BD & sales team to address customer queries and concerns up to the extent possible.
• Travel for in person meetings with sales team/management to address customer queries and concerns regarding the technology & engineering of the Microgrid.
• Co-ordinate with Governments and/or Private Organizations /Authorities to ensure smooth Project execution.

Requirements:

• Master or Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 4-5 years of power supply related experiences and at least 5 years of experience in leading project teams.
• Experience in power supply/microgrid application/energy storage projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of Battery Energy Storage Systems, Switch Mode Power Supply, AC/DC converters and power factor correction.
• Product Reliability and Testing: Knowledge of the importance of conducting reliability and performance tests to ensure product success.
• Proven Track Record: Experience in successfully managing multiple projects, completing them on time and within budget.
• Project Management Certifications: Holding certifications like PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 Practitioner would be advantageous.
