Mission:
- Develop Go to Market Strategies on the IDEC’s focused products for specific vertical markets in the APAC Region
- Meet the growth target of product group in the APAC
- Develop sales across APAC & Middle East as per assigned targets
- Assist distribution channel during customer visits to conduct design-in opportunity
- Regular visits to direct account/customers to maximize IDEC opportunities
- Generate NBO (New Business Opportunities)
- Maintain a strong level of relationship with Distributors & Direct Accounts
- Following the group's pricing and sales policies
- Provide timely and accurate weekly and monthly Sales report to the sales management
- Maintain and share competitive intelligence
- provide customers feedback, market trend and new product development ideas to the sales/product management
Main Tasks:
- Tracking product performance against target
- Provide go to market strategy and for successful penetration into the focused vertical markets, identifying suitable portfolio for specific vertical markets
- Sales management and mentoring of distributors in assigned territories to generate NBOs and achieve budget
- Periodic visits to the distributors to conduct business reviews and regular joint customer visits
- Raise and follow up special price enquiries, prepare quotations with objective to maximize margin
- Assist distributors during exhibitions both at Marcom level and physical presence during the event
- Finding new prospective distributors and customers when needed
- Analyzing feedback from various channels and proposal of actions to Management
- Collect and feedback any competition information
- Prepare and Manage Sales Forecast quarterly/yearly in conjunction with Company Business Plan
- Work with colleagues and managers to understand & promote Company strategy & objectives
- Presentation of periodic reports with activity analysis
- Any other reasonably duties define by direct manager

- Achievement of company turnover objective
- Achievement of personal turnover objective
- Achievement of Product and Vertical market growth target
- Achievement of NBO generation & win (number to be defined)
Territory Focus: APAC and Middle East. Region to be defined (e.g. Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, S. Korea, Australia)
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering is preferred (not mandatory)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in OEM or distribution sales, product management
- Experience working with multiple distribution channels
- Ability to translate customer requirements into workable solutions
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Strong technical aptitude & the ability to understand & communicate technical information
- Strong organizational skills & the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Able to travel overseas as required
- Good attention to detail and strong follow-up skills
- Ability to analyse sales results, interpret data and prepare action plan accordingly
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus (not mandatory)
- Posess a driving licence and car is desired (not mandatory)
